This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the business and financial performance of the company SWIETELSKY stavební s.r.o. using the benchmarking method. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part contains the theoretical background necessary for addressing the given issue. The following chapter characterizes the examined company and also describes the strategic analysis of the enterprise. In the third part of this thesis, the actual benchmarking of the company with appropriately chosen competitive enterprises is conducted. The final part includes a detailed description of proposals for improving the business and financial performance of the company.

This thesis deals with the performance evaluation of a selected company using the START model according to the Excellence model. The content of the thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical background, analysis of the current situation based on the opinions of the company owners, and own proposals for improving the given situation. The aim of this master's thesis is to identify the strengths and opportunities for improving the company's condition. This is achieved through the application of the START model and the utilization of financial indicators analysis. The result of this work is the creation of proposals for the problematic areas of the company, which emerged from the methods and analyses used, in order to help increase its performance.

Kryptografia je neoddeliteľnou súčasťou oblasti počítačovej bezpečnosti. Pri využívaní bežných kryptografických metód a operáciách nad nimi však nie sú jednotlivé dáta nijako chránené proti neoprávnenému prístupu alebo krádeži tretími stranami. Homomorfná kryp- tografia rieši presne daný problém, teda dokáže pracovať s dátami, ktorých obsah nepozná a súčasne dokáže vykonávať jednotlivé operácie nad nimi. Cieľom práce je nájsť jednoduché prípady užitia pre praktické využitie homomorfnej kryptografie, implementovať ich pomo- cou jednotlivých prostredí ktoré pre svoje fungovanie využívajú túto technológiu a zmerať ich výkonnosť a ďalšie dôležité aspekty pri výbere najvýhodnejšieho prostredia a šifrovacej schémy pre danú praktickú aplikáciu.

Proposal for the Extension of the Functionality of Electronic Shelf Labels for the Improvement of Communication with Customers

The topic of this thesis is a proposal to expand the functionalities of electronic shelf labels to enhance communication with customers. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, analytical, and proposal. The theoretical part is based on professional literature and is crucial to a deeper understanding of the issue. It also serves as a basis for the analytical part. In its introduction the company DATART is presented. The analytical part then deals with answering partial research questions interviews, questionnaire survey and observation. Based on the results of the analysis, the proposal part develops proposals focusing on specific measures and strategies that will meet the defined objectives.

Platforms for bechmarking optimization algorithms for continuous problems

Tato práce zkoumá platformy pro benchmarking algoritmů, které se zaměřují na metodu black-box. Začíná přehledem optimalizačních algoritmů a zkoumáním tří významných srovnávacích platforem: COCO, IOHprofiler a Nevergrad. Tyto platformy mají zásadní význam pro hodnocení optimalizačních algoritmů, protože poskytují standardizované rámce, komplexní výkonnostní metriky a zajišťují reprodukovatelnost experimentů. Tento kolektivní přístup pomáhá identifikovat nejlepší algoritmy pro konkrétní aplikace a optimalizovat jejich výkon prostřednictvím ladění parametrů. Zmiňuje také na výhody a nevýhody jednotlivých platforem a jejich schopnosti spolupráce.

The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The master‘s thesis evaluates the performance of an engineering company engaged in the production of agricultural machinery, analyzes the current situation between 2018 and 2022 and proposes the introduction of the Balanced Scorecard model. The thesis is divided into 3 parts, the first explains the goal of the work in details and the methods for its processing. The second part presents the theoretical side of the thesis, such as the explanation of the individual models of financial performance assessment, primarily the Balanced Scorecard model and its individual perspectives, including selected indicators of financial analysis needed for them. This knowledge is then practically used in the next part, which uses not only the financial statements of the company and the indicators gradually calculated from them, but mainly the individual perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard model, the set strategic goals of these perspectives and strategic actions leading to the fulfillment of the set values. Last but not least, the work is concluded with a summary evaluation of the proposal to introduce the Balanced Scorecard model into the company, together with possible benefits and risks of introduction, including their analysis and measures.

Cieľom práce je vykonať sadu testov pre jednotlivé prostredia implementujúce homomorfnú kryptografiu rôznych schém a pomocou spúšťania rôznych typov operácií zmerať ich výkonnosť a ďalšie dôležité aspekty pri výbere najvýhodnejšieho prostredia pre riešenie daného konkrétneho problému.

Factors Impacting the Financial Performance of Firms - Multinational Comparison

The key objective of this thesis is to define the factors that fundamentally influence the economic performance of selected brewing companies in an international context. The thesis focuses on a comprehensive financial analysis and comparison of the business and financial performance of five leading European breweries: Plzeňský Prazdroj and its competitors. The methodology includes the use of standard financial analysis indicators such as profitability, liquidity, activity, and debt ratios, as well as the calculation of economic value added (EVA). The work also includes a regression analysis examining the impact of selected macroeconomic factors on the financial performance of the breweries. The results of the analysis reveal the dominant position of Plzeňský Prazdroj and identify the key factors affecting the economic performance of the entire industry.

The thesis focuses on the financial evaluation of the performance of Pivovar Svijany, a. s. using the benchmarking method. The first, theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the basic background necessary for solving the given problem. The second part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the company itself and complements it with a strategic analysis of the company. The last part of the thesis examines the comparison of the company with other competing companies based on the analysis performed. Subsequently, measures to improve the financial situation of the company are proposed.

Evaluation of the Corporate Performance

The focus of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the performance of ZAMA interior s.r.o. using a financial analysis based on the company's financial statements and then comparing it with two competing companies. In the first part we will discuss the subject matter of the topic, introducing the key concepts, analysis and how we can calculate them. In the second part, I will apply each analysis to a selected company, compare it with competing companies and evaluate the results obtained. The third part focuses on suggestions for improvement based on the opportunities identified by the financial analysis.
