Model of electric energy storage with management system based on general assumptions
Sedlák, Miroslav ; Kopička, Marek (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The accumulation of electricity as an issue is becoming more important and it’s importance is constantly growing. This is due to the fact that more renewable energy sources, mainly photovoltaic and wind power plants, are being incorporated into the electricity system, causing changes in the power grid performance. Changing in the behavior of consumers of electricity can cause further changes in the network. The ability for compensations of these changes in the power grid has just accumulation systems. This Thesis for Master’s Degree presents selected storage systems and ways in which energy can be stored. Further, in this work, a model of accumulation system with management based on general conditions will be created. This model will be tested and its behavior detected under the limit conditions.

Alternative Powertrains and Fuels
Ondica, Rastislav ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis explores different options about how to drive a vehicle, than using petrol and diesel. It discusess alternative fuels for combustion engines. It also explains hybrid and electric powertrains. It concentrates mostly on aspects such as ecology, costs, safety and the possibility of using those solutions.
Concept of Charging Stations with off-grid Operation for Electric Bicycles
Leitman, Valentín ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with charging stations for electric bicycles powered by renewable energy. The aim of this work is to make a proposal for the hybrid charging stations for electric bicycles, which will work independently and, if necessary, will be backed up by a network. In this thesis is entered theoretical information on the issue of electric bicycles, the batteries, charging stations, the connectors of chargers, and photovoltaic systems. The practical part of this thesis is the basic design of the charging station and its design of the mathematical model of the individual parts in Simulink program, which are linked to the actual design of the charging station. In conclusion, this thesis deals with energy and economic analysis of the proposed system, therein included various methods of assessing investment recommendations of appropriate processing methods and overall assessment of the subject.
