Color Changing of the Ceramic brick.

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on color correction of brick body. There are examples of pigments commonly used in various industrial fields, as well as studies on the use of waste products as additives in brickmaking industry, altering, among other things, the color of the brick body. In the experimental part of the thesis the effect of three selected ferric pigments and two selected correction clays on the color and selected physico-mechanical properties of the brick body was investigated.

Color possibilities of artificial sandstones based on geopolymers

This thesis deals with the possibility of preparing artificial sandstone based on geopolymer matrix and ways to achieve a natural appearance and good mechanical properties. The theoretical part is devoted to the current state of knowledge in the field of geopolymers and their recovery potential, but also the natural sandstone and its geographic diversity. The practical part deals with the preparation of various types of binding systems based on metakaolin, ground blast furnace slag and water glass. Their comparison, and the possibility the appearance and characteristics change in the composition of the filler.

Renovation of the colour of the facades on examples of Prague's Baroque architecture Abstract The presented bachelor's thesis entitled "Renovation of the colour of facades on examples of Prague's Baroque architecture" deals with the various ways and steps of repairing the facades of monuments and historical buildings. This thesis aims to present possible procedures in the widest possible context and to show them in specific examples. The first part of the work outlines why it is so important to correctly choose the colour solution and its appropriate use. This part has also defined the importance of the colour of the facade, especially in the Baroque period. The second part describes the individual procedures for the selection of colours, shown on the examples of reconstructions of Baroque monuments in Prague. According to a detailed analysis of the relevant documentation and other documents of the renovations, which are stored in the archives of the National heritage institute. It is also stated what we should take into account when repairing the building - other architect's work, the urban context of the building, and subsequent modifications to the monument itself. Abstract English Name: Vladimír Vaněk The name of the Bachelor's thesis: Surface treatment of wooden garden gazebos and summerhouses stains coatings. This thesis is focused on the monitoring of changes in the quality of the surface treatment of wood wooden gazebos and summerhouses. The aim of this work was to verify the physico-mechanical properties of components that are exposed during the period of exposure to the outdoors and are intended for the manufacture of wooden gazebos and summerhouses. In the theoretical part we deal with the current trend of completion of timber products, including factors that affect the properties of the completed surface. The practical part is focused on the change in the quality of the surface finish of parts. Massive spruce wood (Picea abies) was chosen as background material, which was modified in shape, surface refacing and then impregnated. Spruce parts were divided into two halves, each half of which has been treated with different stain. One half was treated with a thin-film layer stain and the other half thick-film layer stain. After completing the finishes were all test samples exposed to the exterior. The aim of the Bachelor thesis in the experimental part of the change was to compare the quality of the surface in the course of one calendar year. The results are based on practical measurement of test samples. Measurement at the Institute of furniture, design and housing of Mendel University in Brno, where the measured color, hardness, gloss and surface roughness. The bachelor´s thesis entitled: The stabilization and maturation of red coloured wine deals with the making of red wine and substances which are contained in it (anthocyanins and tannins). The thesis deals about the chemical structure of a grape, technology of red wine making and the stabilization of red coloued wine. Thesis also examines the processes of a maturation of red wine.

Corporate design of Maja Sport ski school

Title of study: Corporate design of Maja Sport ski school Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to design a new corporate design for the ski school Maja Sport with a proposal for its implementation. Partial aims to achieve main objective are analysis of corporate design of major competitors and analysis of the current state of corporate design ski school Maja Sport. Methods: To achieve the set goals have been used several methods. Analyses of corporate design are based primarily on methods of observation and analysis of documents. Creating a draft of new design is based on collective brainstorming and informal talks with the owner and manager of the ski school. Results: The thesis found significant weaknesses in the current corporate design ski schools Maja Sport. Compared with the competition, its design is highly fragmented and looks unprofessional. For this reason, the thesis designed completely new corporate design. The practical outcome of this work is a proposal for implementation and design manual with rules and examples of use of the proposed new company design.
