From the bottom of a Czech society

The present work is based on the works of several authors, for which Prague wasone of the main themes of the work. The baseline texts as the work of E. E. Kisch, K. L. Kukla, R. J. Kronbauer and J. E. Šlechta. The work focuses on the literary depiction of life at the bottom of Czech society in the late 19th and early 20th century. Since this is avast topic, I decided to focus attention on two important thematic areas that played in the literature of the period an important role. The first part focuses on the phenomenon of the pub and people associated with it. It tries to point out the stereotyping display space and the appearance of these. Further notes the diversity of characters that fill this environment. It follows the features of both groups, but also the diversity of their rendition of the individual authors. The second section focuses on the work of the Prague underground. Pays attention to both its appearance, but also various ways of its use by humans and changes in the underground at a later time. The final chapter presents a brief look at the grip of this theme in film and theater.

Agricultural reforms in India and their effects

The aim of my work is to bring closer the indian agricultural policy to a reader. Firstly, I will focus on the basic structure of the agriculture in India. It means, what is its weight and who, in India, depends on farming. Moreover, I will pay attention to the institutions that are devoted to this issue. Second point of my topic will analyse the birth, functionality and the effects of the green revolution -- the specific revolution, which was present not only in India, but also in other countries, with problem of lack of food production during the last century. In the last part of my work, after analyzing reforms of the twentieth century, we will look at their positive and negative effects. Negative impacts, that are environmental problems, danger of human healthcare or shortage of primary crop plants throughout the country. But also optimistic impacts, like the improvement of defective reforms or the effort to solve the presence of acute problems.

EU Development Policy: Dimension and Global Context

Tato práce se zabývá v teoretické i obecné formě oblastí vnějších vztahů Evropské unie s rozvojovými zeměmi a regiony ? rozvojovou politikou EU. První kapitola je zaměřena na definování socioekonomických problémů rozvojových regionů a přístupů k jejich řešení. Práce se dále zabývá samotnou rozvojovou politikou a spoluprácí EU, jejím vývojem, právními úpravami, nástroji, finančním a institucionálním aspektem. Pozornost je věnována konkrétním reformám a snahám o koordinaci s ostatními aktivitami vnějších vztahů EU za účelem dosáhnutí maximální efektivity v boji s chudobou. Poslední kapitola je věnována rozvojové pomoci a spolupráci EU se zeměmi Afriky, Karibiku a Tichomoří, Asie a Latinské Ameriky.
