A modern approach to measuring antibiotic susceptibility of microbial cultures using machine learning
Lepík, Jakub ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Čičatka, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST), specifically enhancing and automating the assessment of the disk diffusion method using machine learning and object detection architectures. Thanks to the TensorFlow development platform and extensive dataset, on which custom detection models like EfficientDet were trained, processing a wide range of input data is enabled. This brings the possibility of using mobile devices alongside traditional laboratory equipment when evaluating this method. By employing additional image processing techniques and the OpenCV library, a custom algorithm for measuring the size of inhibitory zones was developed, which, along with the detection models, is integrated within the application module developed by Bruker Daltonics GmbH & Co. KG. This module, created using the ASP.NET platform, is a precise and valuable tool for assisting personnel in microbiological laboratories.
Test Automation of Web Applications
Novotný, Libor ; Bardonek, Petr (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate tools for web application testing automation and to compare them with each other. The tested tools include Selenium, Katalon Studio and Playwright. The tests were created as part of a behaviour-driven development process and used to automate the testing of the information system of Optimal-Energy.cz, a.s. Based on the created solutions, a suitable tool for further testing of the company's system was selected. The results of this thesis allow to compare the possibilities of each tool and may help in the selection of a suitable automation tool. The created solution facilitated the process of testing the selected web application.
Development of a Web Application to Help Learning Foreign Languages
ZAVALISHIN, Roman
This bachelor's thesis involves the development of a web application for supporting the learning of foreign languages and its deployment on a server, ensuring accessibility for both students and the public on the Internet. The application uses ASP.NET and Blazor frameworks. The application allows users to upload digital versions of printed books in EPUB, PDF, or TXT file formats. It is assumed that these books are in a foreign language for the user. The application offers a feature allowing users to click on any word in the book's text, immediately providing some translations of that word. The translation is generated by a Microsoft Translator based on artificial intelligence. It is connected with the application by an Application Programming Interface (API). The application has the capability to save unfamiliar words in a dictionary for their future practice. When practicing these words, the application shows the user a card with a word and multiple variants to answer, each containing a translation. The user is required to choose the variant with the correct translation.
Configurable Telemetric and Monitoring System
Voborník, Petr ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
A goal of this thesis is design and implementation of modular system for telemetry and security purposes. System consists of modules for processing incoming data, web administration and presenation interface and set of web services. For implementation is used C# language along with .NET Framework and ASP.NET.
The Suggestion ASP.NET Web Applications for Detection of Time Series Trend
Cíchová, Jana ; Mareš, Vlastimil (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this work is the creation of web applications in ASP.NET, for the regression analysis of time series. The resulting product will be offered by creating web presentations for travel agencies, as part of a statistical package that has the company produces. The product is a web presentation, by which the travel agency will be able to analyze the marketability of such destinations, and based on specific data to create a forecast for the next years. The results will be processed both text and graphic file type *. xls or *. pdf.
Information System of Czech Discgolf Association
Kudrna, Jakub ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main objective of my thesis is to create web information system used by the Czech Discgolf Association, it’s community and discgolf players. Users can register themselves to the system and then add or edit discgolf courses, hole layouts, make new tournaments and submit scores to them. They can also manage clubs, see league results or add news to blog. There is also mobile web application used for submitting live scores of the tournaments. A specific group of users can have extended rights to editing courses, tournaments or leagues. The information system is implemented in ASP.NET with the use of Microsoft SQL database.
SkillMatrix Database
Vorel, Roman ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with creation of database information system for employee training and bonus calculation with direct connection on existing personal systems in Honeywell production company. The project makes provision for solution on dynamic database server and maximal usage of its potentiality for application development. The system dispose of access privileges containing several user roles and role of administrator. The system concept is realized in UML modeling language. The implementation is realized on Microsoft technologies. The system is generally implmented in 3 tiers: user interface, database component, data base model. The user interface is implemented in ASP.NET 2.0 with utilization of ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 technology. The database component is implemented using object oriented language Visual .NET C# and ADO.NET classes. Data base is relized on SQL Server 2000 in Transact-SQL language. The integral part of the project is also testing on sample data and application in live business on Honeywells company intranet.
