The contemporary czech art groups

Bachelor's thesis describes the current Czech art droups and their directly related topics. The introduction describes the general problems of creation iside the art group and puts in to historical context of development of Czech art for the last two hundred years. Next is the theme of artistic groups widened by the choice of some of the world's art groups. The current czech art groups are described in several medallions representing the youngest generation groups that are actively involved in contemporary art. Engaged Art in Prague's Public Space after 2000 from the Perspective of Participants

This diploma thesis is focused on engaged art in the Prague public space after 2000. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of engaged art and artivism and places them in the context of civil society. It describes the participants dealing with engaged art in Prague after 2000, the topics of the participant's interventions and the tactics they use for their implementation. The empirical part offers, based on biographical research and ethnography, an perspective of the participants. It describes their motivations leading to the creation of interventions, their relationship to public space and to the audience. Work deals with the goals of their activities and focuses on their own concept of success. Last but not least, the thesis is focused on the political orientation of the participants. The thesis thus provides a comprehensive view of contemporary engaged art and pursues on its important role in our society.

Thesis deals with possibility of development cooperation, engagement and interpersonal relationships through artistic projects. How can arts education promote children's interest in their neighbourhoods and learn them engagement? This is main a question in this thesis. The theoretical part describes the methods and approaches that are related to the cooperation in art education. The thesis search for contemporary art projects focused on community development and local changes and interpret them. The practical part describes own project, focused to the city of Dačice. The main ideas of the project are based on the official transfer of the city from Moravia to Bohemia. The aim of the project is not only to promote children's interest in their place of neighbourhoods and to lead them to engagement and cooperation, but also to lead them to reflect their identity. The main theme of my bachelor's thesis is an art group Ztohoven. The goal is to describe characteristics of their work and chart completely all their projects from first one in 2003 till the progress of the last one in spring 2017. At the same time I tried to chart briefly art-historical development of action art, which Ztohoven's work comes from. I also focused on similar Czech art groups, to compare their works to Ztohoven's activity at the thesis conclusion.
Visual art in public space and focus on its presentation on selected periodicals in years 2005-2015 in the Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is to introduce visual fine art in public space in Czech Republic. Introduction of this thesis is devoted to concept of art, concept of visual art and concept of public space. This thesis is a selection of the most important kinds of art and their approach. This thesis is depicting the development of art in the Czech public space, from the first half of the 20th century until today. Despite the fact that this art has gone a long way for over a century and during this time it has began to exploit the potential of new technologies, we can also track the tendency to repeat and return what we know from the past. I demonstrate the selection of the most interesting art instalations and events which could be ment as representants of these arts. The practical part of this thesis track the articles about visual fine art in public space in Czech Republic during the ten years in four weekly magazines - Reflex, Respekt, Instinkt and Týden.
Social Themes in Projects of Contemporary Czech Conceptual and Action Art (from the Late 1980s to the present Day)

The dissertation thesis gives a real picture of Czech artistic works from late 1980s to the present day that use the language of Conceptual and Action art for a reflection of current problems in our society. The study is to encompass socially-oriented art or tendencies that want to communicate with the inartistic context and its focus is on the social-political aspect of contemporary art. The first part of the text is focused on basic concepts, moreover, it describes the most important exhibitions, theoretical contexts or considerations associated with the concepts of political or engaged art and it includes a brief reference to examples of older socially oriented art of the 20th century. The thesis strives to give a picture of the main themes through which artists reflect on humanity within a current societal system with its various old or new phenomena. The topics and the particular relevant artworks are described in four main chapters that should reveal the working methods or the development of the artists approach or strategies of artistic groups that have simultaneously reflected changes in the Czech art scene for the past 25 years. The Theme of Violence in Contemporary Serbian Drama (1996-2009)

The work provides summarized delineation of the development of Serbian theater and drama from 2nd half of the 20th century till now and still defines the bases of contemporary Serbian dramatic works. It describes its characteristics and specifics based on the analysis of specific dramatic works. The emphasis is both on a breakthrough events theatrical of 80's and 90's of the 20th century also on the major dramatic figures of the period of the late 20th century. The work contains a detailed analysis of the three key texts of modern Serbian dramatic literature.
