BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Jméno, příjmení: Anna Kristina Fürstenzellerová Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Bc. Jitka Sýkorová Title: The Use of Craft and Creative Arts in Occupational Therapy Abstract: The bachelor thesis addresses the topic of Arts and Crafts in occupational therapy. Arts and Craft are linked with the profession from its beginnings. Craft activities were one of the first meaningful occupations the occupational therapists ever used in their work. These activities were also the first occupations expertly analyzed by occupational therapists. As the society evolved, the role of arts and crafts in occupational therapy changed. Today, the use of Arts and Crafts in therapy is a controversial topic that divides occupational therapists. Some see Arts and Crafts only as a historical part of the profession, outdated and anachronistic, and refuse to use them in their work. Others feel their potential and try to find ways of purposefully including them in their patients' rehabilitation plans. The bachelor thesis presents a view of Arts and Crafts as a therapeutic tool. It charts the inclusion of these activities in the history of the profession and describes the current situation. It also identifies the problems that occupational therapists face when including these activities in their therapy. The aim of the study...

Chmelíř, Lukáš ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Title: Assessing the activity of ice hockey players depending on the size of the ice rink and the number of players in youth categories of ice hockey Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the number of shots, goalkeeper saves, pass attempts, pass completions, time spent puckhandling, situations 1-1, fouls and goals in minihockey depending on the size of the playing area and the number of players. In order to fulfill the objective of the thesis the scientific question will be answered: What is the best organization of the game and the size of the ice rink based on proportionately the highest total viewed gaming activities? Methods: We analyze the viewed activities based on 40 video recordings of games of players born in 2007. These will be compared taking into consideration the individual game organization and structures of the ice rink; thereafter the statistical significance of individual differences will be determined. Subsequently, the raw scores will be converted into standardized scores, T- points. Based on the values of T-points the most appropriate size of the ice rink and number of players for an effective development of the gaming activities will be determined. Results: Based on an analysis of the minihockey gaming activities depending on the game organization and...

The thesis concerns factors that affect the intensity of MMORPG playing and the gaming addiction symptoms. In the theoretical part, I discuss approaches to the excessive and problematic gaming. I argue for the shift of perspective from gaming addiction disorder toward self-regulation, time perspective, activity theory and habitual regulation. Two inventory-based studies were conducted in order to empirically verify the effect of proposed variables on MMORPG usage. First, the significant role of Time Perspective (TP), measured by Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI), has been confirmed. Second, the habitual regulation had been identified to significantly affect the usage. The habits related to usage were measured by the new psychometrical tool - Cues Sensitivity Scale (CSS). TP and habits influence the usage together - the effect of TP is partially mediated through Cues Sensitivity as well as through the players' deliberate regulation of playing time. All measured variables showed stability in time (measured after three years in subset of respondents). Data was analyzed with statistical methods, mainly with Partial-Least-Squares Path- Modelling (PLS-PM). The part of the data - respondents' strategies of playing time regulation - were analyzed qualitatively.
