Financial analysis and comparison of the airline companies Ryanair Ltd and EasyJet plc

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse and compare the results of a financial analysis of two low-cost airline companies - Ryanair Ltd and EasyJet plc for the period from 2012 to 2016. The thesis consists of two main parts - the Theoretical part and the Practical part. The Theoretical part presents and describes the financial indicators relating to the financial analysis itself. The Practical part introduces the companies Ryanair and EasyJet. Firstly, both horizontal and vertical analyses are performed on the annual results of Ryanair. Secondly, in the practical part are also compared the financial ratios, credibility models and bankruptcy models of Ryanair against its competitor EasyJet.
Comparison of distribution channels of selected airlines

This thesis focuses on the distribution and comparison of different distribution channels, which are used in aviation. Theoretical knowledge is applied to the example of two major European airlines, KLM and Air France, which together form a group of Air France-KLM. The main objective is to compare the various distribution channels and to confirm or to refute the thesis that the vast majority of airline bookings is realized through the travel agencies. The first part focuses on the history of aviation, international organizations active in the aviation and on the actual distribution. Another section is devoted to airlines KLM and Air France. The last part deals with the differences between the various distribution channels and compares them based on specific data.
Czech Airlines commercial activities and business performance analysis

Following bachelor's thesis describes and analysis the situation in the Czech Airlines j.s.c. for the period of five years from the year 2003 to 2007 and puts it into context with the state of international civil aviation industry. The work is thematically divided into several chapters, dealing with CSA's organizational structure, human resources, fleet, business strategy or additional commercial activities. Final part contains statement analysis using relevant financial indicators as well as indicators used specifically in the transport industry or by airline companies. Complete balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement for the years 2003 to 2007 can be found in the thesis appendices.
