Aircraft de-icing systems
Smékal, Aleš ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is familiarization of me with icing on aircrafts. It includes the distribution systems for anti-icing and de-icing, energy intensity and efficiency are also included. It contains icing situations, which are very dangerous for aircrafts. Thesis shows possibilities, how to prevent ice formation, detect icing and keep pilot informed. And finally remove ice.
Aircraft de-icing systems
Fazekaš, Slavomír ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make the acquaintance of the danger of ice coating on airplanes, it s creation and the way of removing. The study involves the description of particular systems designed to protect airplanes against the ice coating and their dividing into deicing and anti-icing systems. The systems are divided by the exploited energy and by the place of installing. The emphasis is centred on the efficiency and the energy intensity of these systems. A part of my study also deals with the removing of ice coating arised on ground and with the description of basic parameters, which must be fulfilled by these systems according to the flying rules.
Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) of 4-seat aircraft
Jakl, Jan ; Weisman, Andrej (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
At the beginning this master's thesis includes of a comprehensive review of aircraft accidents in this category, 2-6-digit aircraft for passenger transport. Since this work focused on autopilot, so naturally there is a basic overview of most common autopilots, which can be found in these aircraft now, but in the future. Functional hazard analysis (FHA) for the 4-seater plane for passenger services primarily investigates cases of catastrophic malfunction, which in most cases accompanied by the likelihood taken from different databases. The airplane, which is created for this analysis will preferably equipped with instruments for IFR flights. There is also a brief overview of the regulations necessary for the installation of these systems in the airplane. At the end of this work is to design the dashboard, a design layout of equipment for future aircraft, with an emphasis on maximum transparency.
Development of aircraft systems
Sokol, Filip ; Kaddour, Mirvat (referee) ; Trefilová, Helena (advisor)
The bachelor thesis with the name „Development of aircraft systems“ deals with development of flight control, electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems of aircraft type CS-23 and CS-25. The thesis is divided into particular chapters; each one concerns with description of particular system. The development is always mentioned at the beginning of each chapter and the rest is dedicated to basic description. There are mentioned the latest trends in flying control of the aircraft and a description of gradual transition into concepts More Electric Aircraft and More Electric Engine in the end of the thesis. The very end is comprised of comparison of aircrafts according to the aircraft systems they use.
Maintenance of Small Transport Aircraft with Application MSG-3 Methodology
Trefilová, Helena ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Finda, Jindřich (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with problems of maintenance of small transport aircraft with application MSG-3 methodology and maintenance plan development. It is aimed at systems and powerplant maintenance. This method is applied on L-410UVP-E20 aircraft. Other parts of this work are assessment of recent situation in maintenance of airplanes, used approaches to maintenance, methods and documentation for maintenance. Last part of this work is practical example of MSG-3 process on assign item and its interpretation.
