Analyses of Affiliate Marketing Possibilities

VOŘÍŠEK, Lukáš: Analyses of Affiliate Marketing Possibilities, University of Economics in Prague. Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. The Supervisor: Ing. Martin Sova. The bachelor´s thesis deals with analyses of affiliate marketing possibilities in content webpages environment, becoming familiar with the topic and the trends, mapping affiliate programs of both local and foreign markets. Theoretical part focuses on definition of affiliate marketing and analyzing its possibilities. Further it looks closer on current situation on the market. The second part of the thesis analyses the possibilities of affiliate marketing for the online publisher and compares two affiliate programs Heureka.cz and Kasa.cz. At the end it recommends the ways of webpage content monetization to their owners. The thesis reveals how big is the impact of the internet campaigns form on their success and what is the contingency with the surrounding content. At the same time it shows the interesting differences which the affiliate programs operators can observe. The outcome of the thesis is considered to be the complex view on the affiliate marketing usage for monetization of content webpages, evaluation its suitability for the needs of internet content publishers, and familiarization with new concepts and information.
Affiliate marketing and the affiliate program analysis in the Czech company

Bussinessmen, companies and traders put money into advertising. But they require these ads to bring the desired effect -- i.e. new customers, sales, revenues. Affiliate marketing allows exactly all of that. The objective of this diploma thesis is to describe the affiliate marketing (kind of performance advertising on the internet) from the perspective of the advertiser and further evaluate affiliate marketing as a suitable form of promotion for a particular Czech company. There will also be the affiliate program analysis, its realization and description of affiliate program management.
In-house affiliate program support software

This thesis deals with a proposal for software supporting in-house affiliate program. The theoretical part explains the issue and advantages of affiliate marketing. Proposal for the software is made in the practical part, based on analysis of the existing solutions. Special emphasis is put on the solution of conversions tracking. The result of my thesis is an application model which allows us to clearly define requirements for the developing system and gives better idea of any other potential costs for its implementation.

The bachelor thesis goal is to introduce affiliate marketing as a tool of internet marketing and provide the overview of this topic, Czech companies that already use affiliate marketing and affiliate partners earnings potential. The thesis describes the topic from the perspective of an affiliate partner and tries to answer questions that may come up from potential affiliate partners. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical one is a guide for those interested in participation in affiliate programs as affiliate partners. The practical one shows how a partner can register into an affiliate program, the overview of Czech affiliate programs and results of the survey carried out among Czech companies that use affiliate marketing, related to commissions amounts paid within the bounds of their affiliate programs.
