Ape Boards

Ape Boards is my own newly formed label, which manufactures snowboards and kiteboards. For this thing I have proposed a substantial logotype, which has a function as a unifying element across the whole brand and designs boards. Website (www.apeboards.com). A first collection of snowboards and kiteboards from which I had made 7 pieces for a thesis. Designs do not 'mass' lust, because the objective is not a big production or promotion, but based on what I liked. From the minimalism through the color geometry to the gorillas, according to which the brand was named.

PharmDr. František Štaud, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Placental transport of dopamine and norepinephrine During the whole course of pregnancy, it is important to maintain proper monoamine homeostasis, namely serotonin (5-HT), norepinephrine (NE), and dopamine (DA), which are crucial for proper placental function and fetal development. Monoamines are important neuromodulators, involved in cell proliferation, and differentiation. and neuronal migration. High fetal monoamine secretion during gestation demands a responsible clearance mechanism, as disruption of their balance may lead to long-lasting changes in brain structure and function, provoking a higher risk of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism or depression. However, uptake of NE a DA through the fetoplacental unit has not been fully and in detail described. Therefore, in this diploma thesis, we focus on the uptake of NE and DA through ex vivo isolated vesicles of microvillous (MVM) and basal (BM) membranes from healthy human term placentas. Richard Macků, Ph.D. The work deals with the personality development of individuals engaged in adrenaline sports in their leisure time. It also addresses the availability of adrenaline sports in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the work deals with the specific components of personality development, defining terms to adrenaline sports, where also gives some examples of adrenaline sports, and adrenaline races taking place in the Czech Republic. The practical part is devoted to the evaluation of the research, which was realized through a questionnaire. In the questionnaire the respondents' leisure time activities and their interest in adrenaline sports were investigated.

History and present of bungee jumping in the Czech lands

The theses deals with the history of bungee jumping in the Czech lands and describes its current form. The aim is to characterize the development of this phenomenon in the Czech context. The area of interest is broad-spectrum and the content of the work reflects several aspects, including physiological and psychosocial aspects. It also includes a summary and analysis of published publications. All information was consulted with the founder and pioneer of Czech bungee jumping. The conclusions show that since its beginnings, bungee jumping in the Czech context has not changed significantly in its essence, it has integrated into the Czech environment, and that today it occupies its place mainly in recreology. Pharmacological modifications of potential signal systems regulating metabolism of adipocytes and hepatocytes and their influence on obesity

v anglickém jazyce: Thesis abstract: Background and aims: Both obesity and metabolic syndrome form severe health problems in the whole world. Nevertheless the armament of pharmacotherapy for both diseases remains unsatisfactory. We aimed our work to main organs in risk of the mentioned diseases -liver and visceral fat using hepatocytes and visceral adipocytes as model. We detected 3 main metabolic and signalization activities- glycogenolysis, Nitric oxide (NO) production and transcription of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) in hepatocytes, lipolysis, NO production and iNOS transcription rate in adipocytes. We directed our interest to combination of peroxisome proliferation activator receptor γ (PPARγ) agonist, antagonist and β3 adrenergic agonist in the culture of epididymal rat adipocytes in the first part of our work. While in the second part we investigated the influence of β and α adrenergic mimetics, adrenergic blockers in the culture of rat high glycogen content hepatocytes. Neuropharmacology of spatial navigation, cognitive coordination and flexibility tests in animal models

Spatial navigation, cognitive coordination and behavioral flexibility belong amongst cognitive functions, which play a role in many neuropsychiatric disorders. Behavioral tasks have proved to be useful paradigms to test these functions in pharmacological or genetic animal models. First aim was to determine a potential interaction between β-adrenergic and α1-adrenergic or D2-dopaminergic systems. Spatial navigation and coordination were impaired in both studies during co-aplication of subthreshold doses of drugs. Used substances belong to group of widely prescribed drugs, thus our results could be implicated in clinical practice. Another study examined an acute effect of MK-801 (animal model of schizophrenia) on behavioral flexibility in Carousel maze and the Morris water maze (MWM). Carousel maze showed higher sensitivity with impairments from 0.08 mg.kg-1 compared to 0.10 mg.kg- 1 in MWM. The final experiment aimed at testing the effect of reduced expression of Nogo-A protein on spatial navigation and behavioral flexibility of rats. A battery of tests in the Carousel maze revealed impairment in cognitive functions, MWM showed unaffected working memory of rats. Model of training preparation for young future flyboarders

Title: Model of training preparation for young future flyboarders Objectives: The objective of the work is to create a model of training preparation for young future flyboarders based on the empiricism of the most successful professional flyboarders. Methods: Ten intentionally selected respondents filled out the survey on their current sports specializations. Three of them were selected based on the frequency of specific and non-specific sports. Individual non- standardized interviews were conducted with them, which were based on direct verbal communication with the respondents. Results: We created a model of training preparation for young future flyboarders. The training preparation model is divided for children from six to nine years old, in which we recommend general sports training (gymnastics, athletics, swimming, sports games). For children from ten to twelve years old, we recommend trampoline jumping, high jumping, swimming, balance exercises, body strengthening and stretching. Analysis of Historical Pharmaceutical Preparations of Naloxone, Adrenaline and Ephedrine.

The aim of the thesis was to analyze the historical pharmaceutical preparations, including the determination of the active substance and identify theirs possible degradation products. A historical pharmaceutical preparation of naloxone was analyzed by mass spectrometry. Historical pharmaceutical preparations of adrenaline and ephedrine were analyzed by UHPLC-MS and were quantified using a calibration curve. In the historical injection solution of naloxone, "NARCAN", dated around 1980, there were no significant degradation products and the measured mass and UV spectrum was consistent with the spectrum of naloxone. The analyzed sample of naloxone was stable even after 35 years of storage. In the analyzed historical injection solution of adrenaline, "Adrenalin Hydrochlor., Dr. Heisler" (dated between 1917 and 1938) was determined 5.26 ± 0.11 % of the declared amount of adrenaline. In the measured spectras were noticeable degradation products, which have not been described in the literature yet and their identification was beyond the scope of this paper. The analyzed sample of adrenaline was almost completely degraded during about ninety years. The stability test carried out with four standard solutions of adrenaline proved influence of oxygen, light, temperature and time on the degradation of adrenaline. In...
