Application Framework for Information System Development in Dart
Raška, Miroslav ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Web applications development nowadays is experiencing specific difficulties in presentation layer that could be solved by a framework that combines modern technologies and novel framework approach. The difficulties are introduced, along with their solution in existing web frameworks. Novel, message-driven framework architecture, basic component structure and various framework extensions are analysed and outcomes and effects are discussed. Technical problems with implementation of generally analysed solutions in the Dart language are examined. The decisions and solutions are accompanied by their effects on real-world applications.
Access Control in Web Applications
Pešek, Martin ; Masopust, Tomáš (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with problems of access control in web applications and used methods of authentication and authorization. It describes the process of the design and the implementation of the component for access control in web applications developped in PHP 5.
Forced Alignment via Neural Networks
Beňovič, Marek ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Hnětynka, Petr (referee)
Watching videos with subtitles in the original language is one of the most effective ways of learning a foreign language. Highlighting words at the moment they are pronounced helps to synchronize visual and auditory perception and increases learning efficiency. The method for aligning orthographic transcriptions to audio recordings is known as forced alignment. This work implements a tool for aligning transcript of YouTube videos with the speech in their audio recording, providing a web user interface with video player presenting the results. It integrates two state-of-the-art forced aligners based on Kaldi, first using standard HMM approach, second based on neural networks and compares their accuracy. Integrated aligners also provide a phone level alignment, which can be used for training statistical models in further speech recognition research. Work describes implementation and architectural concepts the tool is based on, which can be used in various software projects. 1

Case study of web application using open source resources
Koščo, Ján ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
This thesis is devoted to open source Content management system Drupal. The purpose of this work is to point out that this system offers a platform for creating web pages and applications and thus enables the creation of a wide range of applications. The theoretical part provides the basic information for the reader about content management systems and highlights the advantages and disadvantages of their use. The work contains a comparison of the three most popular content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla) and also provides the base knowledge needed to develop applications using Drupal. The first step in the practical part was to create a functionally identical application using the Drupal CMS and web application framework CakePHP. Knowledge of development cycles have been processed into the final chapter, which consists of a brief summary of the cycles and time and knowledge analysis.
