The fighter against revisionism. Václav Král in context of the Czech Marxist historiography

The thesis enagages in life and work the leading Czech historian in the second half of the 20th century. It doesn{\crq}t only try to describe a life and work of the scientist, it places him into the context of the development of the Czech Marxist historiography. It inquires into his statements, opinions and conviction. The author mostly used a rich personal fund of Václav Král, which is deposited in the Archives of the National Museum in Prague and then funds of the History Institute - Archives of the Charles University in Prague and the State Regional Archives in Hradec Králové. The other important sources are some of hundreds Král{\crq}s works. The author also used knowledges of the specialised literature, which describes history of historiography of the second half of the 20th century. Nobody has considered the personality of Václav Král in detail and his influence on the development of the Czech historiography yet and there are only rare informations about him. The author sees the biggest contribution in new and coherent knowledges, which the works grants. He opened a new topic in the history of historiography and pointed out certain questions, in which other historians can continue.
The Head of State in the constitutional system of the Czech Republic: de iure and de facto

Diploma thesis "The Head of State in the constitutional system of the Czech Republic: de iure and de facto" discourses both provisions, which integrate the institution of the president of the republic in constitution, and the virtual implementation of this uppermost authority in the state. At the beginning, the thesis deals with the historical dimension of the issue. It speaks of the general development and history of the office in Czech lands. Hereupon a depiction of the theoretical extent of this office follows. A large verge is devoted to the placement and the powers of the president in the constitution. The pragmatic part of the thesis consists of two case studies. The first one deals with the presidency of Václav Havel. The second one deals with the execution of the office by Václav Klaus. An extra attention is paid to the analysis of the accordance between the theoretical and pragmatic pursuance of the office of president of the Czech Republic.
Library of Vaclav Cerny

This thesis presents the personality of Vaclav Cerny and his personal library. First, the author turns the Černý's professional resume. The second part focuses on the critical activities readership portrait and popular heroes. Another part is defined Černý's personal library, general characteristics, its formation, the ways in which Černý harvested books, his work with books, literature review, and libraries that Černý visited during his life. The final part describes in detail the part of the library with existential literature, deals with the forerunners of existentialism and the Czech and foreign representatives of this philosophical direction.
The image of Saint Wenceslas in the chronicles of old Czech literature

The aim of the bacheloral thesis is to describe the image of St. Wenceslas in the selected chronicles of older Czech literature. The primary texts that will serve as the basis of the bacheloral thesis will be especially Kristiánova legenda, Kronika Čechů written by Kosmas, Kronika tak řečeného Dalimila, Kronika česká by Přibík Pulkava z Radenína, a document called O státě českém by Pavel Stránský ze Zapské Stránky, Kronika česká by Václav Hájek z Libočan, Diadochus by Bartoloměj Paprocký z Hlohol a Paprocké Vůle, Poselkyně starých příběhů českých by Jan František Beckovský and an anonymous document called Země dobrá, to jest země česká. This bacheloral thesis will focus on the character of our Czech patron in the light of the description of his personality, life, method of his government, relationship between him and other members of his family and other aspects. These motives will be examined within the primary texts and then compared.
