Civic Associations as Social Entreprises

The theme of my thesis is looking into phenomenon of social enterpreneurship in relation to associations. My aim was to determine how associations devote social businesses in the Czech Republic. The theoretical section is mainly used to understand the basic concepts and related to social enterpreneurship. Based on research, my aim was to find the ideal conception of social enterprise for the Czech environment. The empirical section presents examples of good practise through specific associatins and their business. I verify the ideal conception of social enterprise through associations and I am interested in whether that social business could obtain additional funding to associations. The escalation of my thesis are recommendations for associations on how to become a successful social entreprise.
Corporate Social Responsibility and its Effect on Consumer Preferences in Ghana

Abstract The study set out to examine the effects of Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd CSR activities on the company’s brand using the Triple Bottom Line. The study examined the CSR practices and programmes of Ghana Breweries Limited. Fifty (50) respondents made of staff and managment of Ghana Breweries Limited were sampled to answer questions in relation to CSR practices and programmes of Ghana Breweries Limited. The study concludes that despite the widely held view that CSR activities are just another tool for marketing products, CSR programmes actually have significant effect on the brand preference of companies. The study also concludes that other activities such as promotions, advertisement, and quality customer services and products quality are also other factor that affects the preference of GGBL products. However other companies that engage in only traditional methods to promote their brand did not have their brand preference increases in an increasing rate. The study concludes that CSR activities and programmes could have a significant effect on the preference of brand and product
Social entrepreneurship in the South Bohemian and Pilsen regions - the current development and the basis of further development

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of social business in the South Bohemian and Pilsen Region, its development and possibilities for further development. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the state of social business in both regions and to recommend possible steps that would lead to a greater development of social business in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the history of the social economy and its subjects. Attention is also devoted to social entrepreneurship, its development and the principles that social enterprises must follow. Further, there is described the development of social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, legislation and support possibilities for social enterprises. In this section, there are also examples of countries where social enterprises is working successfully. These are Great Britain, Italy and Poland. The practical part deals with the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which took place among managers of social enterprises in both regions. Questions in the questionnaire were very broad. There were questions about the size of the enterprises , the cooperation, the problems that enterprises face or the benefits of doing business for the company. Based on the results of this survey, research questions were answered. Further, recommendations are described in this part, which could help to further develop social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. This is rather a nationwide recommendation. In this case, the empirical investigation is rather supplementary.
Corporate Social Responsibility and reporting in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the current state of CSR reporting in the Czech Republic based on the collection of data from different reports on corporate social responsibility, which are published by the Czech or foreign companies operating on the Czech territory. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, examining the fundamental nature of the concepts and addressing the issue in more depth. As a substantial part of the thesis consists of an analysis of the current state of CSR reporting on our territory, it was suitable to divide the last chapter into two subsections. The first part is dedicated to the general characteristics of the concept of corporate social responsibility and the second part discusses the questions pertaining to the aforementioned issue in more detail. In order to provide a clear analysis, ten reports of major and well-known companies were selected. It is possible to deduce a trend from the results which suggests the behaviour of the companies when reporting CSR.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The topic of bachelor thesis is the Corporate Social Responsibility. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the definition, basic principles of corporate social responsibility, such as Stakeholder Theory and Tripple Bottom line, and further explains the progress of the implementation cycle. In the practical part there are identified socially responsible behavior at a private college and it is proposed partial progress in the implementation of the concept of CSR in the company.
Uplatnění konceptu společenské odpovědnosti v malých a středních podnicích

This diploma thesis disserts on the application of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The first part of the thesis starts with the evaluation of current trends and attitudes to social responsibility, it distinguishes the CSR concept, its historical evolution, the fields, dimensions and characteristics of the concept and it discusses its application, evaluation and report. Following the use of theoretical knowledge a set of questions for the application of CSR in SMEs primary research analysis is proposed. This diploma thesis, in practical part, evaluates general opinions about CSR in SMEs, it estimates the level of perception of attitudes to demonstrations, motives, barriers and stakeholders SMEs when using CSR and it evaluates realized responsible activity MSP. Subsequently evaluates the perception of the factors influencing the CSR concept level and realized SMEs responsible activity using composite indicators. At the base of analysis results we formulate the recommendations for the support of implementation of CSR in SMEs.
