Design of flying rotary shears
Tulis, Tomáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design flying rotary shears for metal cutting at high speed. The shears are a part of a rolling mill where they are used to cut faces and ends of the simple sections, i.e. rounds or squares. In case of the malfunction of the rolling mill, the shears can be used for scrapping the simple sections. A technical report with function destription of the machine as well as machine design according to specified parameters and control calculations are an integral part of the thesis. The required design documentation is included.
Forming Technology of Thin Sheets
Musil, Zbyněk ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with technology of mechanical working of the sheetmetals by cutting for rotary and non-rotary single parts. The first part deal with common dissertation about surface mechanical working, mainly about cutting and meaning of cutting gap in accordance with final cutting. The second part deals with transfer of the new pieces of knowledge from foreign technical literature of surface mechanical working. In the last part there is done an aplication on the particular component.
Manufacturing of mirrors clamp
Večeřa, Jaromír ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis presents a proposal for manufacturing of a mirror clamp, used for wall mounting. The clamp is made of stainless steel 1.4301 with a thickness of 1 mm. Manufacture series produces 40,000 pcs/year. After considering the individual manufacturing options, production in the combined process tool was chosen. The manufacture takes place in five steps, the utilization of the material is 84.1 %. This was completely proved by technological, design and control calculations. According to these calculations, a tool was designed with all of the technical documentation. Due to the forming force of 180 kN and the work of 113 kJ, the eccentric press T-30 CE from the company SanGiacomo Presse was chosen.
On the cutting geometry and kinematics of the arthroscopic forceps part
Pospíchal, Oldřich ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This Thesis presents a design innovation in arthroscopic forceps. Based on surveying the subject-matter literature on arthroscopic surgery of the knee, design changes are proposed to alter the cutting geometry of the functional end of the instrument to improve its utility. The proposed changes are imple-mented in a prototype, which is then compared with the current design. The comparison is made by testing the functioning of the instrument and the force required to shear the test material.
Manufacturing of a VESA holder
Večeřa, Jaromír ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents a proposal for manufacturing of a monitor holder supporting the VESA mounting system. The part is made of DC01 steel with a thickness of 2 mm, while the size of the production series was set at 150,000 pcs/year. After considering possible production variants, the use of a progressive combined tool combining cutting and bending was chosen as a suitable method. After technology control and selecting a suitable production process, calculations of forming forces and work were performed. The total force was set at 699,7 kN and the total forming work reaches 1,2 kJ. The S160 press from the company Šmeral Brno a.s. was chosen as a suitable machine for production. The semi-finished product in the form of a metal sheet coils will be fed into press by feeding device.
Production of rack moulding
Repatý, Michal ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The paper evaluates technological, economic and construction aspects of the component production and the design of the tool serving for large-scale production of the S355MC steel rack component. Use of a progressive tool combining cutting and bending operations in four steps has been decided as the most appropriate according to literature study. Based on the need of production of two plane-symmetrical pieces at a time, the tool will produce both pieces simultaneously, which is economically advantageous. The tool is designed for use on the Arisa 630t mechanical press. Material will be winded off the roll, flattened and pushed into the tool by a precision feeder. The total cost of production of the component was set at 18.80 CZK.
Jigsaw puzzle
Fasorová, Aneta ; Spáčilová Blažková, Kateřina (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The Jigsaw puzzle project deals with the design and implementation of a prototype of multi-purpose clothing and accessories made from recycled textiles. The individual parts of the puzzle can be combined or assembled according to the enclosed manual into a specific form.
Manufacturing of backstop
Toufar, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Thesis solves the design of manufacturing technology of steel backstop – the part made by shearing and bending. The component will be made from a rolled steel coil of the DC01+ZE25/25-A-P-C material with the thickness of 1 mm. The batch size is determined 200 000 parts per year. At base of choosen process and calculations is designed progressive die for shearing and bending. Shearing punches, punching dies, bending punch and dies are made from steel 19 436. Die is made for eccentric press LENR 25-A with forming force 250 kN.
Manufacturing of clip
Melezinek, František ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with technology of clip manufacture, used as connecting segment of clip frame. The molding is made out of 0,3 mm metal sheet and includes a number of bends and shaped cuts. Based on analysis of suitable production metods and size of series of 300 000 pieces per year, progressive combined tool was chosen as the best option. The part will be made in eight steps combining cutting and bending. For semi-finished product was used 53,4 mm wide roll of sheet metal. As material was choosen spring low alloy steel 51CrV4. Based on calculated force 43kN and work 15kJ the part will be produced on universal hydraulic press CUPS 6,3 DEU manufactured by HŠV stroje a.s.
Manufacturing of an End Stop for a Sliding Gate
Holusek, Maxmilián ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This masters´s thesis deals with a manufacturing of an end stop for a sliding gate. The semifinished product material is a DC01 steel with a thickness of 3 mm and the production size of the series was set at 100 000 pieces a year. From many posibilities of production alterntives, a progressive die tool was chosen. It combines the two main technologies, which in this case are cutting and bending. After a proposal for manufacturing was made, much needed calculations of forming forces and work were done. The total forming force equals 1 937,7 kN. The next step was making a design of a progressive die, plus picking a S 250 press from a company called Šmeral Brno a.s. A production line from a company called Attl a spol. s.r.o. for feeding a steel coils into the press was chosen.
