This bachelor´s thesis called Source analysis of financing of selected investment in the municipality is focused on possibilities which can be used for financing the selected investment. This work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines and divides investments and then describes the financial resources that can be used for financing public investment. The practical part discusses the possibilities of financing specific investment in the municipality. The selected investment is a new building of kindergarten in the township of Drásov. The goal of this thesis is to find and elaborate all available financial resources and then to choose the optimal variant of financing.

Economic and Financial Impacts of Investment Project on Public Investor

The aim of the master‘s thesis is to evaluate the economic and financial impacts of the investment project on the public sector. It is defined the financial management of the investor – the village Ludkovice – for the assessing of the impacts. Selected project is the construction of a sports complex in Ludkovice. Outputs are determined by using eCBA application that uses method of Cost Benefit Analysis. The thesis connects together theoretical knowledge of evaluation economic indicators such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Profitability Index and use this calculations to evaluate the overall effectiveness of investment and the possibility of financing in practice.

This thesis is focused on financing of public goods through state funds, especially on the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure. The work consists of a general part, which is divided into three chapters focused on state funds, and special part, which is divided into two chapters focused on the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure. The first chapter of the general part at the beginning explains the terms of the budget and the budgetary system, and then presents the budgetary system of the Czech Republic. The second part deals with the term of fund management and explains setting of public funds system in the CzechRepublic. The second chapter of the general part deals with the general characteristics of state funds. At the beginning discusses the benefits of financing through state funds, then provides a brief overview of the history of state funds in the Czech Republic and at the end discusses the common characteristics and differences of the budgetary process and organizational structure of state funds. The third chapter of the general part is concerned on revenues and expenditures of state funds. The first subpart at the beginning compares the legal regulation of revenues and expenditures of state funds, then derives a typology of revenues and expenses and finally classifies legal categories...

Financial management of funds

Financial management of funds The theme of this thesis is analysis and evaluation of financial management of funds as a possible way of financing certain areas of public sector. The focus of this thesis is primarily on general conception of public funds, their legal basis, structure and characteristic. More specifically it deals with State funds in the Czech Republic and the analysis of the budget of particular fund and its income and expenses. Special attention is paid to the State Transport Infrastructure Fund. The text is structured into three main parts, which are then subdivided into chapters and subchapters. Brief definition of the theme, motivation for its selecting, main goals of the thesis and resources that have been used are mentioned in the introduction. The first part of the thesis deals with general characteristic of financial management of funds, discusses the basic concepts, definitions and structure of funds, followed by analysis of selected public funds on the state level, level of local self- governing units and on European level. Extra-budgetary funds in the public finance system

The presented diploma thesis discusses the framework of public extra-budgetary funds as an element of the system of public finance. Extra-budgetary funds inclusion to the system of public budgets and to the system of relations among them, as well as extra-budgetary funds institutional arrangement, the overview of their activities, the extra-budgetary funds economic results and especially impacts and consequences of all above appointed are extremely relevant topic in the period when increased attention to the stability and sustainability of public budget system is paid.

Analysis of the budgetary management of the state funds in years 2000 - 2010

Purpose of the thesis lies in analysis of allocation system of state funds. The State fund of environment of Czech Republic has been chosen for analysis. It has been providing enough relevant documents for executing the analysis. The thesis researches way of allocation of the public resources with an emphasis on economy, effectiveness and efficiency (3E) and in compliance with legislation, especially with act no. 320/2001 Sb. The mentioned act contains definition of 3E and rules for budgetary control in Czech Republic. In conclusion of thesis the practice recommendation for state funds are formulated, respectively for State fund of enviroment of Czech Republic.
