Space management of a retail unit

The thesis deals with space management of a selected retail unit Kaufland in Jihlava. The first step was to map the current layout of the sales and non-sales area. Subsequently, a questionnaire was developed and presented to respondents of all age categories shopping in the selected retail unit. The questionnaire examined not only the frequency of purchases, but also satisfaction with the current layout of the sales area and the range of products offered. When dissatisfied, respondents could list what they were specifically dissatisfied with and could suggest solutions to these problems. When the collection of responses was completed, the data was evaluated. Using this data, suggestions were then made that the sales force could apply to achieve higher customer satisfaction. Thus, the result of this work is the redesign of the sales unit layout.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of space management in the Albert supermarket. Space management is a tool for optimizing the movement of goods and creating a better shopping atmosphere for customers in the store. This topic is closely related to category management, merchandising, store layouts. The aim of the work is to compile a design of the spatial arrangement through graphic expression, based on the information found from the questionnaire survey. The questions are primarily focused on customers' satisfaction in the store and their comments on the use of space in the unit. There are proposed changes according to the results, which could help the retailers to make any necessary steps to deal more efficiently with space in the store and meet the needs of its customers.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose changes in the space layout of the selected retail unit. The selected retail unit is Kaufland in Strakonice. Based on the mapping of the current layout of the unit and the customer satisfaction with the current space layout, a new model of the retail unit is proposed. The theoretical part is focused on the study of information on the topic of the space management. The practical part of the thesis includes the mapping of the current sales area model, the results of the questionnaire survey, on the basis of which a new sales area model is proposed.
Factors of revitalization of brownfields in the Czech Republic

The paper deals with reuse of brownfields in the Czech Republic. Based on the analysis of information about re-use of residual spaces are shown major changes in the current management space. The paper is based on a comparison of two data files - specifically, the existing brownfields database managed by the CzechInvest and own database of brownfields that have already been revitalized. The paper is divided into three parts, the first part of the paper analyzes the structure of a revitalized brownfields, in the second part of the paper, the structure of this file is compared with the structure of existing brownfields and the third part analyzes the factors revitalization of brownfields. The paper aims to answer the question what functions take the brownfields after revitalization and what factors determine their reuse.

The aim of the thesis is to assess space management of a retail unit and to propose a new efficient model. The selected retail unit for this thesis is Tesco store in Písek. Theoretical part focuses on basics of space management and tactics that are used by retailers to utilize space. At the beginning of the practical part is description of current layout of the retail unit. After the description can be found evaluated survey that was conducted on customers. Based on acquired data a new layout is proposed while also respecting retail unit's needs.

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to chart the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Penny Market ltd.This retail unit is located in South Bohemia in the town Blatná. Another aim identifies the customer satisfaction with the store layout. The space management is related to the issue of category management, sales support, merchandising and marketing research . This thesis deals with the most influence of the purchasing decisions of customers. The questionaire is designed to determine this intention. The new model of the store layout of this retail unit is based on the answers and responses of the respondents, and should satisfy the customers. The work also includes a questionnaire as an attachment, a comparison of the current and the new model and the proposed changes.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Jednota, in Kamenice nad Lipou, and propose changes interpreted through the new model. The theoretic part is focused on a concept - space management. An important part of space management includes the areas of merchandising, purchasing behaviour, shopping atmosphere and a store layout. These concepts contain possible strategies by which the sellers display their goods, optimally organize floor space and improve retail environment in a shop. The practical part is concentrated on the customer satisfaction with the arrangements of selling space. A marketing research analyses and evaluates on the basis of a questionnaire the customer satisfaction. Finally, bachelor thesis includes a new model of the business unit with proposed alterations in the store.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the space management of a selected retail unit, which is Billa supermarket in České Budějovice, and propose changes interpreted through the new model. The theoretical part is devoted to the literature. This section discusses the areas of space management, merchandising, which include mainly location of goods and sales promotion. Business range, layout, shopping behaviour and habits, types of consumers and marketing research ale also described. The second part is practical. The space management of the selected retail unit is analyzed and evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire. Recommendations for optimal space management, which is based on acquired customer requirements, are also provided. The thesis compares the current state of space management with final state designed on the basis of marketing research results.
