Provisions - comparison of IFRS for SMEs and Czech accounting standards

The Bachelor thesis is focused on provisions in accounting from the point of view of Czech accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-Size Entities. The main purpose is to define the basic differences between the two accounting systems in the area of provisions in accounting. Then it briefly describes the IFRS for SMEs and small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic. The main differences between the accounting systems are identified on the basis of theoretical and practical comparison, in the area of provisions in accounting and also in general.
Application of Balanced Scorecard

This Master's Thesis shows the process of formulating and implementing the corporate strategy with the use of the Balanced Scorecard method. The theoretical part defines small and medium enterprises, explains the basic concepts and procedures of strategic analysis and creation of the Balanced Scorecard. The practical part deals with the strategic analysis of a particular small company, based on which the strategic business objectives for individual perspectives are then defined (financial, customer, internal business processes and perspectives of learning and growth) and proposes appropriate standards for the corporate objectives. The thesis ends with the processing of the company's strategic map, which clearly shows the consistency and causality of the individual strategic objectives.

The main objective of this thesis is based on the identification and assessment of the current approaches of small and medium-sized enterprises to human resource management propose the model of human resource management in Czech small and medium-sized enterprises, including recommendations to improve the quality of human resource management.
Entrepreneurship of small and medium-sized companies in Belgium

This thesis is focused on the analysis of business conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises in Belgium. First chapter involves the definition of these companies, describes their weaknesses and strengths and importance in the European Union. Next part includes short information about Belgium and contains also the description of the local business environment. Third chapter aims at the characteristics of small and medium-sized companies in Belgium considering the total number of active companies, employment and other measures and analyzes in detail the system of the public support at the european, national and regional level. The last part compares the sector of SMEs in Belgium with the same category of enterprises in the Czech Republic.
The export financing of small and medium-sized enterprises

This work describes basic options of the export credit promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic offered by both the state and the private sector. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining the term "small and medium-sized enterprises" and a description of their economic importance. In this part I refer to their social benefits, economic status and forms of their internationalization. The second part deals with fund raising, both in terms of traditional and alternative methods. It is dedicated to state institutions providing the direct and indirect export credit promotion of SMEs in the Czech Republic. Furthermore it, in a limited range, dedicates to the export credit promotion agency CzechTrade, which provides valuable information not only for new exporters. The last part is a case study of a Czech company seeking the export credit promotion. The contribution of this work is the view of SME and their export credit promotion, which is coherent and clear, and can help SMEs with an orientation between a number of different alternatives to finance their export.
The Use of the Coaching Technique in the frame of Manager Audit in MSP

The aim of this thesis is to use a method of coaching in the implementation of managerial audit of selected small and medium-sized enterprise. The practical part includes directed coaching interviews focused on the managerial audit with one of the owners of firm PODLAHY A DVEŘE, Ltd. It also contains a verbatim report of all of the three conducted coaching interviews and its evaluation.

The topic of bachelor's thesis is the status of women in business and entrepreneurship in Latin America. This thesis is divided into four chapters: The first chapter deals with the general position of women in the labor market, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises. The second chapter introduces the business environment of the Latin American region and the position of women in this area. The third chapter contains an analysis and subsequent comparsion of two countries in the region - Mexico and Argentina - in view of the status of women in the labor market and entrepreneurship. In the last chapter of thesis are examples of successful Latin women.
