Position tracking using GPS coordinates
Mishustina, Ekaterina ; Podivínský, Jakub (referee) ; Sadovský, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is devoted to determining the location using GPS. The GPS module receives the GPS signal and forwards it to the development board, where it is subsequently stored in a data structure and forwarded to the server. The server processes data about the location of the device and reflects it on the map it generates. To gain access to view the data, the user must pass authorization and correctly enter the name and password. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to electronic data transmission, data transmission standards and protocols, GPS and also describes the basic properties and functions of the hardware used for the design and implementation of the device.
System for Automatic Object Tracking
Kerndl, Michal ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
There is suggestion of obtaining exact position in this work, based on GPS and GSM modules controlled by PIC microcontroller. Layout of this work is electronic schematic, PCB footprint and theoretical analysis of used modules. The practical part of work is also dealing with software for both microprocessor and web interface. The function prototype will be created and tested in next phases of this project.
System for a Dispatching of a Private Ambulance Service
Prokop, Lukáš ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of web application for a dispatching of a private ambulance service and mobile application for ambulance drivers. The web application allows the dispatcher to create new orders, plan routes effectively and assign them to ambulance vehicles. The mobile application is used for sending ambulance vehicle's position and displaying assigned routes. At the beginning of this thesis, the analysis of methods of web and mobile applications development, analysis of work with GPS data, analysis of system requirements and evaluation of existing solutions were performed. Web and mobile applications were designed and implemented on the basis of the information obtained. The implemented system emphasizes simplicity and intuitive control.
Location tracking via GPS
Stříteský, Jan ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with the subject of tracking via GPS and focuses on possibilities of the practical implementation of user tracking system with the help of mobile end user devices. The introductory theoretical part shortly describes the properties and history of the GPS navigation system. It outlines possible development of end user mobile applications on the level of operating systems and mobile web applications. The final theoretical part provides a short outline of properties of tacking systems available in the Czech market. The primary aim of the thesis was to create an application which would enable the tracking of user position via GPS. The practical part describes the selected solution as well as the individual parts of the designed tracking system. The resulting system allows to record and track user position determined by a mobile phone with an integrated GPS module. The systems also enables the creation of user groups, tracking their routes and visualization of the given position or entire route on a map.
Radar sensors in mechatronics
Pulec, Matěj ; Formánek, Martin (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This work is studying the possibilities of using radar sensors in mechatronics. The theoretical part describes the basic principles of the mm-Wave FMCW radar sensor, along with several examples of their possible applications. The practical part describes three experiments testing the capabilities of this sensor. In these experiments, the the radar was found to be able to accurately and reliably track the position and speed of a moving object. However, problems arose when trying to determine the position of static objects and also when detecting the shape or orientation of both dynamic and static objects. For these purposes, the the tested radar appears to be an unsuitable type of sensor.
Mobile Objects Tracking Module
Famfulík, Lukáš ; Zamazal,, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to innovate NCL 07 unit made by NAM system a.s. The new device is intended to have improved parameters and diminished dimensions. It should be fully comparable to similar products on market. In the first part there are described features and individual circuits of NCL07 unit. Further there is done an analysis to suggest modifications leading to reduce proportions of DPS and to enhance other parameters including SW design improvement. Theoretical part deals with selection of main measured values and methods of verification of measurement accuracy. There is also described theoretical basis used in the oncoming sections of the thesis. In the practical part there are presented procedures of designs of innovated product. In the conclusion there will be made testing of new unit and results will be compared to competitive commodities.

Asset Tracking Information System
Labounek, Petr ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The work deals with recording and tracking of the objects in a certain area. It also puts mind to web services, mapping applications and modern standards, which seeks to compare and choose the best for this project. Then explore the existing systems and discusses their pros and cons, which specifies the requirements and propose solutions to information system built of selected technologies in order to create a friendly user interface. The proposed solution implements using modern PHP frameworks based on the MVP design pattern, and finally deals with verification of functionality and outline future developments.
