Siblings and their relationships in children's home
HOJKOVÁ, Ráchel
This bachelor thesis, titled "Siblings and their relationships in children's home," is primarily focused on emphasizing the importance of working with siblings. The main goal of the thesis is to explore how caregivers, who spend time with these children and influence them in certain ways, perceive this topic. It aims to determine whether caregivers actively work with the children or if they do not feel the need to support their relationship. Another objective was to ascertain whether caregivers perceive that siblings influence each other and how this influence manifests. We also investigated the prevalence of sibling relationships in children's homes. The main research question posed and answered in the thesis is: Do caregivers in children's homes work on fostering sibling relationships? The research was conducted through qualitative methods, employing semi-structured interviews with caregivers from children's homes with extensive experience. Transcripts of the interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis, supplemented by open coding due to the abundance of content in the text. Emphasizing the importance of working with sibling relationships is one of the contributions of this thesis. Insights from this thesis can be utilized to improve the work of caregivers and other staff in children's homes. Since caregivers in children's homes influence the children placed there, it is essential to pay attention to their approaches towards the children. Information from the bachelor thesis should be integrated into specific practices in institutional care, while ensuring the best interests of the children themselves are kept in mind.

ČERNÝ, Václav
The hereby presented dissertation thesis pursues the life prospects of brothers and sisters related to new owners of rural grounds located in three South Bohemian villages at the turn of the 18th and 19th Century. The very core of this analysis was coming to know the fortunes and life stories of such siblings, from the day of birth until their passing a milestone of realized marriage. The work itself was based on an extensive study of numerous archival files, comprising church and land registers, and lists of subjects, completed with records needed and used by nobility. Methodologically, this work proceeds from genealogical and history-demoghaphical attitudes. The circumstances of rural farmsteads´ transfers, most imporantly the choice and age of an heir became the subject of research here. Furthermore, groom service of the owner´s offsprings and - as the case may have been - recruitment of his sons could not stay left aside. As a secondary subject of research, entering into marriage and subsequent application of marriage strategies as an important part of social mobility were put under scope.

The use of topic Betlehem in art-therapy
FIALKOVÁ, Elena
The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of Bethlehem, one of the art therapeutic topics of projective-intervention methodology. The work is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part, the text deals with a story as a therapeutic and art therapeutic tool. It describes the use of symbolism and archetypal themes with which stories work in therapy. The text mentions in more detail aspects of working with a biblical story and its characteristic differences from other types of stories, such as fairy tales or myths. The theme of Bethlehem in art therapy work raises questions related to his own self-concept within the family, relationships in the family, sibling constellation and the relationship to the home. Furthermore, the bachelor's thesis offers an overview of the development of the scenes of Bethlehem in European and world art, while presenting various efforts to visualize and materialize the story of Bethlehem in the history of civilization. In individual periods, it presents the specifics of a given period or style on specific examples. In the life and paintings of four artists of the 20th century (P. Gauguin, M. Chagall, E. Schiele, B. Reynek) with themes related to Bethlehem and the family, the work seeks the relationship between the style and symbolism that the paintings convey. In the practical part, the work deals with case studies of images that were selected to include a diverse range of examples. The authors of various age, gender and social groups paint the theme of Bethlehem, some in the questionnaires allow a deeper insight into the personal issues that accompany the pictures. The scene, format and technique were not specified in detail and there are different types of processing. In some moments we encounter stereotypes, in othermoments we are surprised by new possibilities of grasping this traditional Christmas story.
