Use of Mobile Device Sensors in a Car
Aron, Lukáš ; Široký, Vít (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis analyses the use of an accelerometer commonly present in a mobile device for the measuring of vibration in a vehicle. Such measurements are used to map the quality of the road surface. The signal from the accelerometer and the current travelling speed of the vehicle are evaluated according to a threshold function. This function allows for a determination of whether the signal reported by the device signifies a pot-hole or another type of defect on the road surface. If the defect is determined to pose a threat to a vehicle travelling at higher speeds, then this fact is saved into the memory of the device. The second part of this thesis deals with the design of an internet and a mobile application, which is able to collect all measured data processes using cluster analysis and then shares the results with other participating devices. Tha practical results is that a map of road surface defect is thus created, which is then displayed to road users. This thesis deals with theory of mobile device sensors, including signal processing, as well as the design creation of the internet and mobile application.
NFC technology and its security
Mertlík, Tomáš ; Babnič, Patrik (referee) ; Rosenberg, Martin (advisor)
The first objective of this paper is to describe the Android operating system. The chapter presents history and architecture regarding to all versions of the operating system. The significant part of chapter is focused on security. The second main topic of this paper is analysing the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. This technology is based on an older contactless system RFID (Radio Frequency Communication), so RFID is described either. The NFC technology chapter contains the description of usability, history and the definitions of physical layer, link layer and NDEF (NFC Data Exchange) data format, used for data transmitting. The next chapter is focusing on the analysis of the NFC vulnerability. It contains a possible attacks methods and solutions how to prevent them. The output of this paper is the projection and creation of an application, which allow sending an arbitrary data between two devices using the NFC technology. Additional Bluetooth technology can be used for larger files. In this case, NFC helps to create Bluetooth communication channel which is utilized for data transfer.
Android vs Bada
Obořil, Radek ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of two mobile device platforms Samsung bada and Google Android, primarily from a point of view of native application development. Native applications features, graphics and media support as well as developer tools are compared. As a part of this thesis, an application was created - a variety of a classic Snake game. This text describes design of this application, differences in the implementation, and discusses possibilities of application porting between the platforms.
Support for Jenkins Plugin Development in Python Language
Bambas, Tomáš ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Müller, Petr (advisor)
Jenkins CI, the continuous integration server, enables to extend its functionality by plug-ins. These plug-ins can be written in Java and Ruby. The support for Python language is missing although it is one of the most popular programming languages. Therefore we have implemented the SDK for Python plug-in development and this SDK has been integrated into the Jenkins CI community repository. The documentation for the plug-in development in Python has been also published. Thanks to that work, developers can now implement plug-ins in Python programming language.
Image and Video Processing on Mobile Phones
Gazdík, Martin ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This paper deals with image and video processing on Symbian OS smartphones. Description of required development tools is given, and pros and cons of existing image processing applications are discussed. Afterwards, a new application, fast image viewer and editor, is designed keeping disadvantages of similar applications in mind. Purpose of this work is to make simple and fast tool for easy manipulation with integrated camera and captured images. Results and future development directions are at the end.
Web Interface for Graphics Demo
Přikryl, Petr ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of web interface for demonstration programs for image processing. Introducing system for linking PHP to C++ using XML files. The interface allows user to easily run and install their own programs.
Gait and sleep monitoring system using Pebble Time Smartwatch
Racek, Matej ; Mucha, Ján (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with Gait and sleep monitoring system using Pebble Time Smartwatch. As part of this work, 2 Android applications are developed. The theoretical part deals with research on the given issue, comparison of solutions, basic terminology. Furthermore, Pebble, Pebble SDK, the possibility of development in its environment as well as the use of accelerometer data are described in the work. The practical part deals with design, implementation with samples of code and testing of the sleep and movement monitoring system.
Communication Module for X-PLANE Simulator
Kolář, Michal ; Jalovecký, Rudolf (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
Within Mater’s Thesis a design of the communication module for X-Plane simulator was worked out. It will enable to read data from simulation model or change current flight situation.
Automatic Regression Tests for SDK and CMSIS
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Šimková, Hana (referee) ; Crha, Adam (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis, I deal with design and description of implementation of automatic regression tests for SDK and CMSIS software packages using the continuous integration system Atlassian Bamboo. The goal was to create a set of tests over IDE interfaces MCUXpresso, IAR Workbench, uVision. Furthermore, to compare file structures and files between new and previous versions of software packages. An essential part of my work is also a theoretical basis concerning the algorithm and comparison of XML files and his modifications. For visualizing large amounts of data from the regression test output, it was necessary to create a clear interface.
Congress centre Humpolec
Šrůta, Otto ; Pospíšil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and processing of the convention center. The proposed house is located at the top of the square of Humpolec in the area designated for the construction of public facilities. The building consists of a basement, where there is a garage for the car owner and stores food for the kitchen. On the first floor there is a reception, restaurant and facilities for the kitchen. On the second floor are conference halls. In the third and fourth floor is accommodation for guests. The restaurant is designed for 55 people inside + outdoor terrace can seat about 30 people. Conference halls are designed for 90 people. Accommodation is for 28 guests. Outdoor parking is for 40 cars. Perimeter bearing walls are made of reinforced concrete + insulation. Interior bearing walls are made of reinforced concrete, interior non-bearing brick walls HELUZ. The ceilings are made of overstretched Spiroll panels and boards reinforced cross. For ceiling is plasterboard ceilings. The roof home is designed as a single-layer flat. Heating is effected by the heat pump. Wooden windows are six-chamber, aluminum doors. There is a staircase and an elevator. The proposed facility is designed wheelchair.
