Analysis and Visualization of Brno Traffic Data
Ondrušková, Magdaléna ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work was to analyze two traffic datasets from the Waze navigation application and to create a web application to process, analyze and visualize the results. The web application is intended to serve not only the citizens of the city Brno, but also to the staff of the transport department for better understanding and more efficient transport planning. The application is implemented using the FastAPI framework and the React library. In cooperation with the staff of the transport department, the application has been tested by real users. The results of this work are a web application that allows users to analyze traffic on selected streets and routes and better understand and define the most critical sections for traffic in the city of Brno, with the potential to expand to other cities.
Analysis and Visualizaion of Brno Public Transport Data
Lazúr, Juraj ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The planning and management of modern public transport systems requires knowledge of the behaviour of the systems in a real environment. The aim of this thesis is to simplify the procedure of extracting useful knowledge from vehicle delay data in the Brno public transport system. The solution to the problem consisted in the design and implementation of a tool that will autonomously process and analyze this data. The outputs generated by the implemented tool provide support for planning, implementation and evaluation of changes in the public transport system. They also allow the detection of critical points and recurring patterns in the system. The results of this work allow for a more efficient operation of the public transport system and should serve to increase the satisfaction of the travelling public.
Warehouse Modeling Using Graphical User Interface
Rajnoha, Martin
This paper describes a new algorithm which enable efficient conversion of graphical representation of warehouse into graph theory representation and consequently accelerates estimation for route costs. The proposed algorithm computes route distances between any place in warehouses and does so significantly faster than traditional approaches. For this purpose an algorithm based on Breadth first search, image processing “skeletonization” and Dijkstra algorithm was proposed. Using the proposed algorithm it is possible to search routes in a warehouse effectively and fast using precomputed routing table. Searching time is approximately hundreds of microseconds using routing table and even it is independent on size of warehouse instead of using Dijkstra algorithm.
Routing among autonomous systems in Internet
Daněk, Michal ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes the architecture of the Internet, its division into autonomous system and methods of their interconnection. Furthermore extensively describes routing mechanisms among autonomous system but also inside. More space is dedicated to routing protocols OSPF and BGP. At the end of the work is designed laboratory task for subject Network Architecture where this protocols are used.
Principals, switching functions and routing techniques in computer networks
Dvořák, Pavel ; Pelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis consider main principles and function of active network components. Mainly is intent to component working on the third level of referential model ISO/OSI, router. There are described its main parts and more closely charactered routing protocols. Then is verified the ability of dynamic routing to react to failure in the network and there is measured the reaction time of crossing to secondary route when using different routing protocols. Another part of the thesis is focused on the questions of Quality of Service (QoS) and its support in computer networks. There are explored various ways of the QoS configuration on the routers and the proper of them is chosen and applied to the test network.
Implementation of the Advanced Security Algorithms into Home Routers
Špinler, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with network devices designed for packet routing in small networks. It's focused on two particular devices with ARM processor. There is detailed description of an instalation of OpenWRT operating system to this devices. Next, there are results of tests of routing performance of these and some other selected devices and tests of performance of alogorithms used in network security. A module for OpenWRT operating system for pattern-matching in network traffic is also part of the work.
SDN Controlled According to User Identity
Holkovič, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this work is to connect dynamic identity management system developed under the project Sec6Net with a control of SDN network. The controller Pyretic is used for network control, which allows application development by using the match-action rules. Interface between the identity management system and controller Pyretic is designed and implemented in both systems. To prove the concept, selected use cases related to security, routing and accounting are created. The use cases are implemented as applications for Pyretic controller. All programs were tested in networking laboratory according to the possibilities. The main contribution of this work is to simplify and improve the management of computer networks while providing new capabilities to administrators of these networks and ultimately their users.
Advanced features of MPLS technology
Netdev Driver for Acceleration COMBO Cards
Tran, Dominik ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Kučera, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of the network device driver for the FPGA network COMBO cards, which should enable receiving and sending packets through standard network interface of Linux kernel. CESNET is developing a device called DDoS Protector for protection against an amplification (D)DoS attacks, which uses COMBO cards to achieve high performance. A SZE2 interface is used for high speed transfers of network data between COMBO card and a controlling software application, using technique of bypassing kernel network stack and other methods. DDoS Protector has to support standard network protocols, whose implementation directly on top of the SZE2 is very difficult. Instead, using kernel network stack, which is, by default, bypassed to achieve high performance, is much easier to implement and supports all sorts of protocols. Creation of the network device driver enables us to use kernel network stack and other network applications for COMBO cards. Based on the study of SZE2 interface and driver development, I designed and then successfully implemented network device driver. Driver was tested to ensure standard protocols work. It was also tested from the performance point of view. I have also developed the same type of driver for the newer interface - NDP and an application for an accelerated packet forwarding, both of which are functional and were not part of the thesis specification.
Use of a simulation model for the development of an automatic algorithm for creating a routing table and path evaluation in a conveyor system
Weyrová, Dominika ; Simeonov, Simeon (referee) ; Hromková, Ivana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the use of a simulation model for the development of an automatic algorithm for the creation of a routing table and route evaluation in a transport system. It includes a search of modeling and simulation issues and state-space search issues with an analysis of available search methods. The simulation model of the transport system is created in the software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, where an algorithm for automatic creation of routing tables for routing and evaluation of routes according to static criteria is subsequently developed and tested. The work presents a proposal for the principle of the algorithm for evaluating the routes of the transport system, including dynamic criteria and their optimization.
