Analysis of the voting behaviour of the Hungarian minority in the 2023 Slovak parliamentary elections

The Hungarian political representation and its electoral base have undergone an intense internal evolution, split and value shift in recent years. Based on a study of the literature, the main motivation of this thesis was to clarify how this evolution has influenced the electoral behaviour of the Hungarian minority in Slovakia in the 2023 parliamentary elections. The main objectives of the thesis are to explain and describe the factors that influence the electoral support for Hungarian parties; to further clarify the relationship between voter turnout and the representation of the Hungarian minority; and finally, to explain the dependence of the electoral performance of Hungarian parties on the electoral performance of other political entities. The analytical part of the thesis is based on the results of the 2021 census and the results of the 2023 parliamentary elections. The main methodological procedure for answering the research questions is primarily the usage of the regression analysis. In addition to this, correlation analyses are also used. The results indicate a clear dominance of Hungarian parties in southern Slovakia. Analysis of economic data using statistical methods

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the economic data of a company and the subsequent evaluation of its financial situation. In doing so, it uses the tools of financial analysis and statistical methods, namely regression analysis and time series. The theoretical part presents the theory needed to perform the analysis and also explains different financial indicators, statistical methods and regression functions. In the analytical part, data from the company's financial statements are used for financial analysis and subsequent forecasting of their future progress. In the last parts of the thesis, a comprehensive assessment of the financial situation of the company and suggestions for solving the identified problems are presented.

This bachelor thesis is focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company SLOVPUMP-TRADE, s.r.o. using mathematical and statistical methods of financial analysis. Part of the work is to create an application in the Visual Basic for Applications, which can be used to evaluate the financial situation of the company. The thesis contains a theoretical part, which deals with the description of economic indicators and regression analysis, analytical part, which is focused on the financial analysis of the current state of the company SLOVPUMP-TRADE, s.r.o. The third part desribes created application and recommendations for the company based on the results of financial analysis.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of financial indicators using time series, regression analysis and interval regression analysis of a selected company. The diploma thesis describes selected financial indicators, time series, regression analysis and interval regression analysis. Furthermore, the calculations of financial indicators for the selected company and the characteristics of the time series are performed. Individual financial indicators are subjected to regression analysis and interval regression analysis. Based on the performed analyzes, the company's risk factors are determined and recommendations for the improvement of the current situation in the company are proposed.
