Benito Olmos, Martina Abstract Terrorism is a resilient phenomenon that has fascinated policy-makers and academics for centuries and gained particular attention after the events of 9/11 in the United States. The 21st century has seen significant changes in society that have equally impacted terrorism. The ignition of the post-modern era changes the way people think, behave, and communicate with one another, influencing terrorist trends as well. Examining the latest tendencies in society and their effects on terrorism, the thesis explores David C. Rapoport's influential Wave Theory on Modern Terrorism to evaluate its validity in representing the current post-modern reality. Rapoport provided a highly acclaimed model to understand modern terrorism according to a set of characteristics. Operationalising these factors, the author organised transnational terrorism into four consecutive waves. The Wave Theory has inspired other academics to speculate on the possibility of future waves. Providing an extensive literature review analysis and secondary data description on this topic, this thesis interlinks social trends with terrorist patterns. The aim of the bachelors thesis is to analyse the recruitment process at Call centre RWE, explore untapped labour market, identify strengths and weaknesses of the recruitment process and make suggestions to improve current labour situation. Thesis is divided into two sections - theoretical and practical. Theoretical section describes terms and theory of recruitment. Practical section consists of the description of the company, current situation in recruitment at the Call centre RWE, results of the research and strengths and weaknesses of the recruitment process together with the suggestions for increasing its outcome. The research included these topics - student employment, popularity of the position call centre operator, RWEs employer brand especially its attractiveness and the recruitment campaign.

Bachelor's thesis entitled "Sponsorship of the energy company RWE, focused on support of Czech cinematography" deals in its introductory theoretical part with sponsorship in general . This part is based on the main available literature dealing with the sponsorship. After brief presentation of the energy group RWE, with a focus on the Czech Republic, follows the core of the thesis - sponsorhip of the RWE. The thesis offers an overview of the major sponsorship projects and it focuses on the project RWE - Energy of Czech Film. The main objective of the thesis is to describe the project in a broader context, analyze it and submit potential recommendations for the future.

Práce stanovuje hodnotu společnosti RWE Transgas, a.s. V první, metodické, části se věnuje použitým formalizovaným metodám. Aplikační část obsahuje strategickou analýzu širšího i užšího okolí podniku i firmy samotné. Následuje finanční analýza minulého hospodaření firmy. Za použití závěrů ze strategické a finanční analýzy je sestaven finanční plán, na jehož základě je pak stanovena hodnota společnosti metodou DFC FCFE. Pro srovnání je použíta i metoda diskontované EVA.
