Study of Model Parameters Influence on Vehicle Insurance Impact
Šandera, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with basic test procedures conducted by companies Euro NCAP and RCAR. It focuses mainly on insurance impact and describes the creation of a model, simulation and crash on barrier. Moreover, it explores the influence of change of yield strength, thickness and hardening of material of energy-absorber on simulation of insurance impact, especially the amount of absorbed energy by energy-absorber.
Design of rear bumper for passenger car
Tomeš, Jan ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with search about passenger car bumpers. It focuses especially on RCAR crash tests and currently used constructions of bumpers. There is suggested concept of rear bumper based on findings from the search. The concept was modeled on design study of Swell Company’s car.
Parametric study of the absorption element of the rear part of the vehicle
Vražina, Lukáš ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Šebek, František (advisor)
In 1995 was published a regulation from RCAR company which determines rules for crash tests in maximum speed of 15 km/h on vehicles lighter than 2,5 ton. The main reason was to reduce costs for car reparation in case of crash in low speed. My diploma thesis is focused on the modifications of deformation part in the car alias absorption part of the vehicle. In the first part of my diploma thesis has been done a research about organisations doing basic car crashes as well as topic focused on nonlinear mechanics and description of explicit FEM. In the second part of my work are settled conditions for crash simulation of a barrier into the car. There is an evaluation of critical force on the stringer. Afterwards the calculating simulation simplified on loading of absorption part and there are some material and form adjustments. In the final part of my diploma thesis is done a result comparison and development of the absorption part.
Crash test and its effect on cooling module design
Hačunda, Patrik ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Bazala, Jiří (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá rešerší na téma „Crash test a jeho vliv na konstrukci chladícího modulu“. Práce obsahuje základní data Evropské legislativy, informace o společnostech provádějící nárazové testy, popis a funkce jednotlivých částí chladícího modulu a v neposlední řadě popis prvků kompenzující náraz v nízké rychlosti. Na základě předpisu společnosti RCAR je zpracována simulace čelního strukturálního nárazového testu.
Physiological basis of the tradeoff between growth and defense against abiotic stress: the role of carbon balance
Doložílek, Jakub ; Konrádová, Hana (advisor) ; Petrášek, Jan (referee)
Similarly to other organisms, plants must coordinate growth and development with their energetic status. Besides that, considering their sessile way of life, they need to adapt very precisely to the environmental conditions of their habitats. However, from the point of view of invested resources, the defence mechanisms may be very expensive, and so, their activation is usually accompanied by a restriction of growth. Hence, establishing functional dynamic balance between investment to growth and defensive reactions ("G-D tradeoff") is essential for the plants fitness, competitiveness and reproduction success. The thesis examines the mechanisms that are fundamentally contributing to this balancing. In this work, evolutionarily conserved axis coordinating growth and development with energetic status consisting of TOR kinase, positive growth regulator during favourable conditions, and her antagonist, the SnRK kinase, inducer of resources mobilization in purpose of realizing defensive measures securing energetic homeostasis, is discussed. Further, this thesis focuses on plant-specific pathway which links the TOR-SnRK1 axis with perception of environmental conditions. The main components of this pathway are the SnRK2 kinases, coordinators of specific defensive reactions, PP2C phosphatases and...
