Demografické faktory materiálních podmínek kvality života seniorů v Brně

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the material quality of life of seniors in the city of Brno. The aim of this work is to determine the importance of key demographic factors of material conditions of quality of life of seniors in Brno. The aim of the work was realized by a questionnaire survey through 250 respondents selected according to the quota selection. The answers were evaluated by the method of word character analysis (square contingency and Pearson's coefficient). The degree of dependence between the amount of old-age pension and gender (P = 0.44), education (P = 0.56) and branch of employment (P = 0.57) proved to be significant. It was also found that the higher the old-age pension, the higher the expenditure on food (P = 0.46), interests (P = 0.45) and savings (P = 0.45). The material quality of life is most often influenced by education and the field of employment of the last long-term profession.

Sokol, F. Consumer behaviour in Dog Food Market. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2021. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the factors that affect consumers in the market of dog food, with a focus on the Pardubice region and then make marketing recommendations for companies operating in the market. The diploma thesis is divided into literary research, own work, and recommendations. The literary research describes the issue of consumer behaviour and purchasing decision-making process. The thesis contains an orientation analysis that describes the external and internal environment of the market for dog food. Furthermore, the own quantitative research from the questionnaire survey is processed. The following section focuses on recommendations for companies in the dog food market. The last part includes discussion and conclusion.

The diploma thesis deals with packaging and consumer behaviour. The aim of this thesis is to propose marketing recommendations for stores dealing with non-packaging sales. The partial goal is to identify factors that affect consumers when shopping in a non-packaging store and to find out the main motives that lead customer to shop in these stores or not. Literary research describes the issue and forms a comprehensive overview of consumer behaviour, marketing communication, non-packagign shopping, waste Zero Waste and the primary data were obtained from a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews. The factors that most influence customers have been found to be their own experience, quality, availability and price. The recommendations were made mainly to improve the communication of non-packaging stores, as most respondents think that these stores are not sufficiently promoted.

The diploma thesis deals with consumer behavior in the process of choosing a fitness center in Brno. Its main goal is to identify the factors that influence consumers when choosing a fitness center in Brno and then make specific marketing recommendations, the implementation of which will help fitness centers gain greater popularity in the eyes of consumers. The results of the work are based mainly on data obtained through primary marketing research, the largest share of which was a questionnaire survey, which was attended by a total of 308 respondents.

The master’s thesis deals with the influence of Industry 4.0 on the training of human resources in the Czech Republic with a focus on the engineering industry in a broader sense. The aim of the thesis is to propose recommendations for HR managers in connection with the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on human resource management in mechanical engineering, based on analyses and research in engineering companies. The goal is achieved through analysis of the external environment PESTE, analysis of the internal environment McKinsey 7S performed on a sample of two middle to large companies in the industry, qualitative research in the form of semi-structured in-depth interviews with HR specialists of these selected companies and processing of data from conducted questionnaire survey among employees using statistics, contingency tables, and established hypotheses, which were further evaluated. The results are then formulated in the form of recommendations for managers in the field of employee training and development in companies operating in the engineering industry.

The diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour in the fashion industry market with a focus on Slow Fashion. The thesis orientates on the Slovak market and examines the behaviour of Slovak consumers. The thesis also tracks the latest fashion trends, which are respectable to the sustainable aspects of the fashion industry. A quantitative research is conducted in order to identify the factors that influence consumers when buying clothing, as well as to determine consumers' current attitudes toward Slow Fashion. The quantitative research in the diploma thesis is performed in the form of a questionnaire (n = 441) with a target group of respondents aged 15 to 64 years. According to the results of the questionnaire, respondents consider quality, price, look and fit, and material as the most important factors when buying clothes. The order of importance of the factors differs between men and women. Based on the results of the elaborated questionnaire and the acquired knowledge are in the conclusion proposed recommendations intended for both Slow Fashion manufacturers and retailers, who often act in this field as one and the same subject.

Kolláriková, N. Development of motivation of marketing agency employees in a specific home office environment. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2022. This bachelor's thesis aim is to compile a recommendation draft to develop the motivation of a marketing agency employees in a home office work environment. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of an overview of professional sources related to motivation and employee job satisfaction. The analytical part includes the company's internal analysis using the 7S method and the quantitative research evaluation. The resulting recommendations, designed concerning the knowledge from the analytical part, are economically evaluated and acceptable for implementation in the company.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is bullying and cyber-bullying at the secondary technical school. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to capture the problem of risky behaviour occurring among pupils in secondary school. I will focus in more detail on cyber-bullying and bullying, both physical and psychological. In this context, attention is also focused on the issue of triggering agents of risky behaviour. This is especially about family, peers and school. The core of the theoretical part consists of chapters about bullying and cyber-bullying. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the prevention of bullying and cyber-bullying at secondary technical schools as well as their condition in secondary education. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains the results of the realized quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey. The aim of the research was to find out the incidence of bullying and cyber-bullying at one specific secondary technical school located in a small town within the Olomouc Region. The respondents to the questionnaire survey were first to fourth-year students at a selected secondary school.

The thesis deals with the impact of brands on consumer purchasing decisions and compares the perception of a private and traditional brand by the consumer on the Slovak and Czech markets. The main objective of this thesis is to identify factors of consumer behaviour and to specify consumer attitudes, consumer preferences in relation to private and traditional food labels, on the basis of an analysis of the brand's impact on consumer purchasing decisions on the Slovak and Czech markets. The results of the questionnaire survey (n=837) were used for quantitative research. Based on the experience gained in relation to the identified factors influencing consumer behaviour and attitudes, consumer preferences were denied by segmentation. Subsequently, quantitative research was supplemented by qualitative form of individual in-depth interviews (n=12) for individual segments. On the basis of these studies, recommendations were proposed for interest groups and individual segments on the Slovak and Czech markets.

The topic of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming increasingly attractive, for both the media and companies or institutions themselves. The corporate responsibility is in fact of interest of individuals such as citizens, employees and customers. It is important to realize, that social responsibility is no longer considered just as a contribuliton to charity. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate how the selected company approaches the social responsibility. Based on the findings, suggestions that could improve the social responsibility of the selected company are recommended. This thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defined social responsibility, its benefits, principles, criticism and other topics related to it. The practical part defines the aim of this thesis and methodology. The selected company, its services and social responsibility activities are also described. The thesis contains the results of a questionnaire survey, on the basis of which suggestions for improving social responsibility in a selected organization are recommended.
