This diploma thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a new performance reporting system, which will serve as a key tool for supporting decision-making in the company. The work deals with the identification of management needs and requirements, which will be included in the analysis of the company and then, with their help, the creation of a solution proposal, which includes the creation of specialized dashboards, key performance indicators (KPI) and interactive reports, in order to provide accurate and relevant information for company managers. of this work is a new reporting system that has the potential to improve decision-making and support business performance and competitiveness.

Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Company Management

This thesis deals with the analysis and proposal of improvements to existing processes in a selected company using mathematical and statistical methods. This is achieved on the basis of digitalization and automation of invoice processing processes in the selected company in order to increase competitiveness in a dynamic business environment. Due to the high costs and risks associated with traditional manual invoice processing, the enterprise decided to switch to a modern digital solution. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first of which outlines the theoretical foundations that are the key treasure trove for the subsequent detailed analysis of the current state of invoice processing. Next, key issues are identified and an effective solution is proposed using Microsoft's SharePoint, Power Apps and Power BI technologies. The implementation of the proposed solution brings significant benefits to the business, including reduced operational costs, increased accuracy of invoice data, and freeing up human resources for other tasks.

This thesis deals with the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) in the Bio G company environment. The aim of the implementation is to improve the efficiency of the service department's decision making and processes through better use of data and analysis obtained by BI tools. A strategic analysis of the company revealed the key factors for the successful implementation of BI into the service department processes. The thesis focuses on data cleansing and transformation, which is essential to provide quality inputs for analysis and reporting using Power BI. The results show significant improvements in reporting and data analysis, which has enabled better strategic decision making and the identification of new trends. Thus, the implementation of BI has brought about process improvements and created a foundation for future expansion within the company.

The last section contains the suggestion of Business Intelligence solution itself with the use of Power BI tool, visuals and reports, which can be used for better targeting in future marketing campaigns.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of reporting to support management decision-making in the field of improvement ideas. After elaboration of the theoretical part, which lays the basis of the issue, an analysis was prepared, which approached the functioning of the system of IdeaM improvement ideas. The description of the original and current state of reporting served to identify problems and possible improvements. The solution leads to the design of software reporting support, which will allow management to monitor and evaluate improvement ideas online. Finally, the savings of proposed reporting, evaluation using the KISS matrix and the current use of reporting in the company are described.

Monitoring and Profiling Solution for the BI System

This master’s thesis focuses on monitoring and profiling multidimensional database and reports. The project was created in MS SSIS to this purpose and it contains 4 ETL packages. The thesis is divided into three main sections. First section consists of theoretical background needed to accomplish the goal. In second section there is analysis of the company for which is the solution created and in the third part of the thesis there is described the proposal and it’s solution. Proposal of the solution and the solution itself was created in MS Visual Studio 2015, MS SQL Management Studio and Power BI.

This master’s thesis deals with designing of the reporting solution for the selected company. In the theoretical part its describing the present state of the topic, defines the basic terminology, clarifes theoretical background and explain how to understand to a concept of business intelligencem reporting or information systém. Next part describes the design of the solution. This thesis then concludes with brief evalution of the solution and recommendation for the company.
