Mechanical design the rotary joint of satellite antenna
Šreibr, Vít ; Mazal, Pavel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a mechanical design of the rotary joint of the satellite antenna. It is a partial solution of the project which is dealing with a development of new product for a commercial subject. The device enables horizontal and vertical movement of the satellite. The established aims are solved in the whole range. The basic structure is conceived as a weldment. The other parts are connected with the body by demountable joints. The choice of key points is supported by calculations and the design is documented by technical drawings. This thesis is suitable for readers with an intermediate technical knowledge.
Control of Positioning System for Acoustical Measerements
Pytela, Ondřej ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with issues of remotely controlled positioning system which uses stepper motors ILS1R573PB1A0 to drive linear axes Beger Lahr PAS41BR. Stepper motors contains RS485 interface for comunication with other devices so appropriate converter was made to make a connection with personal computer via USB port. The main objective was to develop control application by using MDC_ActiveX library and development environment Visual Basic 6.
Design of the experimental PV tracker
Černý, Martin ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design, show plans and build two devices for positioning the solar panel. The output of the work is a technical documentation with a list and procedure of assembly. The thesis also includes economic cost evaluation.
Digitally-controlled dual-axis positioning rig for digital camera
Hrubý, Michal ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis introduces the construction design of two-axis positioning device to be used as panoramic head. Theoretical part explains parts of the device and in the practical part is the device assembled. The result is a complete positioning device for digital camera Canon EOS 500D and for similar camera.
Folding mechanism for mobile satellite antenna
Buchta, Tomáš ; Koutecký, Tomáš (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and construction of a manipulating mechanism for a satellite antenna, mainly for use on vehicles that will be able to work even in adverse weather conditions. The design and manufacturing of the device should provide sufficient positioning accuracy and toughness of the structure. Since this is a prototype therefore the design solutions should be chosen with regard to simplicity of production.

Positioning System for Sound Intensity Probe
Sedlář, Pavel ; Kouřil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a development of a 2-dimensional positioning equipment for an acoustic measurement using modules of linear positioning axises MAXS1BR and PAS41BR and stepping motors ILS1R573PB1A0 by Schneider Electric. These motors include integrated power stage and interface RS485. An interface converter using integrated curcuit MAX232 by MAXIM for interconnection between these motors and a control computer was designed. The circuit of the converter was built and tested in a solderless breadboard at rst. Afterwards, a printed circuit board was developed using software EAGLE Layout Editor. This thesis also includes a documentation of mechanic parts, which are necessary to grip measuring appliances.
