Czech breweries a their cartelisation 1869-1918

This thesis aims to capture the fundamental factors of development of Czech breweries and their cartelization in period 1869 - 1918. It analyzes three big companies, which represent specific ways of organization. It analyzes especially the mechanisms of their business and financial results, technological level, organization of sales and cooperation in cartels. Cartels are discussed separately and mentioned is their importance for the development of the field in the period.
Key Factors of Successful Niche Market Strategy in Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the niche market strategy as one of the marketing strategies used mainly among small and medium-sized companies. The aim of the thesis is to analyze successful Czech firms that indicate the occurrence of characteristics of the studied direction, and to determine the key factors that influenced their success. In the research, primary data obtained through on-line questionnaires and interviews with company representatives as well as secondary data downloaded from the Internet were used.
Business Strategies of České Budějovice Pencil Factories Heading for Nationalization in the years 1945-1948

The diploma thesis being submitted deals with the issue of applying managerial strategies and their economic impacts on the České Budějovice pencil factory within the years 1945-1948. The core sources for this analysis were mostly annual reports and operation reports, meeting minutes, statistical reports, correspondence, and sources of private nature. The thesis builds upon the methodological bases of business history. The most prominent pencil industry people of the post-war era became the main subject of the research. Based on the business strategies of these managers, the following parts of the thesis then focused on economic evolution, on which they applied both vertical and horizontal comparisons. The advertising activities of these pencil factories or the negotiations with the former subsidiaries represented by the Hardmuth family did not go unnoticed either. The key contribution of this thesis lies in its analysis of the nationalization process followed by the centralization of the Czechoslovakian pencil industry.
The influence of the financial crisis on the business strategies of the export oriented companies

The aim of the thesis is to define the actual economical crisis and it's influence on the world's economy, especially than on the Czech Republic as an export oriented economy. Identify the problems czech export companies have to face, describe their influence on the business strategies and also give place for a description of the potential solutions together with the possibilities of using the subventions from both the state and private agencies.
