Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou uplatňování manažerských strategií a jejich ekonomických dopadů na českobudějovické tužkárenství v období 1945-1948. Základní zdroje pro tuto analýzu představovaly převážně výroční a provozní zprávy, zápisy z porad, statistická hlášení, korespondence a také prameny osobní povahy. Práce vychází z metodologických východisek business history. Hlavním předmětem výzkumu se staly nejdůležitější osobnosti tužkárenského průmyslu v poválečné době. Na základě podnikatelských strategií těchto manažerů se další části soustředily na hospodářský vývoj, kde byla uplatněna vertikální i horizontální komparace. Stranou pozornosti nezůstala ani reklamní činnost jednotlivých tužkáren a dále vyjednávání s bývalými dceřinými společnostmi reprezentované rodinou Hardtmuth. Klíčovým přínosem uvedené práce je analýza procesu znárodnění a následné centralizace československého tužkárenství. The diploma thesis being submitted deals with the issue of applying managerial strategies and their economic impacts on the České Budějovice pencil factory within the years 1945-1948. The core sources for this analysis were mostly annual reports and operation reports, meeting minutes, statistical reports, correspondence, and sources of private nature. The thesis builds upon the methodological bases of business history. The most prominent pencil industry people of the post-war era became the main subject of the research. Based on the business strategies of these managers, the following parts of the thesis then focused on economic evolution, on which they applied both vertical and horizontal comparisons. The advertising activities of these pencil factories or the negotiations with the former subsidiaries represented by the Hardmuth family did not go unnoticed either. The key contribution of this thesis lies in its analysis of the nationalization process followed by the centralization of the Czechoslovakian pencil industry.
