Increasing Business Performance of Online Store

The bachelor thesis describes increasing business performance of online store on URL www.vytvarny-shop.cz. Increasing business performance of online store is achieved by SEO and by implementation of additional modules for online store. The starting point for this thesis is theoretical background which describes the issue. The analytical part of the thesis draws on the theoretical part and verifies whether the online store is in conditions which are consistent with standards and methodologies listed. The practical part of the work proposes and implements changes, which have been based on the analytical part and evaluated as desired within a stated budget. Bachelor thesis results in the economic evaluation of the conducted changes and provides a comprehensive view of the success of work and the modifications in financial sense.
Application for Document Management

This thesis deals with design and implementation of web application for the preparation control and document management. The application provides the visitors with documents concerning various events (e.g. conferences) and these documents can be purchased by means of their credit which can be topped up by means of pay gateway. The next purpose of the application is document preparation control, where the users gradually submit their work to the system and therefore the administrator can be informed about the task execution. The thesis puts the accent on user-friendly interface, responsive design and accessibility. The application is built on standard PHP 5.6 technology with Nette foundation framework Nette, Twitter Bootstrap framework and jQuery library. The contents of my thesis is accessible to the public on the www.monitorevent.cz website.
The Firm in a Competitive Environment

This Thesis Deals with the Position of a Company within a Competitive Environment. The Theoretical Part of the Thesis Is Devoted to the Main Concepts that Appear within the Work Including the Various Types of Competitors and the General Objectives of a Company. The Work Analyses the Factors which Affect the Efficiency of a Company and Its Competitiveness within the Market. It Further Describes Selected Ways of Analysing the Internal and External Corporate Environment. In the Practical Part of the Thesis an Analysis of the Company PayU Czech Republic s.r.o. the Operator of the Internet Payment Gateway PayU Is Carried out. The Current Situation of the Company Is Evaluated in Light of the Development of the Market in which It Operates in Comparison to the Main Competitors and in Terms of Its Internal and External Surroundings. The Analyses of the Company are Carried out on the Basis of the Procedure Described within the Theoretical Part of the Thesis. The Data Obtained Are Used in order to Assess the Company´s Competitiveness and in order to Draft Subsequent Proposals for Strengthening of the Company´s Position within the Competitive Environment.

Payment cards on the Internet

This thesis deals with payment options on the Internet and is primarily focused on payment cards both in terms of their risks of use, and their popularity from the perspective of merchants and customers. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first part talks about available payment methods when paying in Czech e-shops. The second part is relates to payment cards in terms of the brief description of its development, current situation, classification, security, security risks and security policies. The third section provides a brief definition and classification of electronic payment systems. The fourth section presents a survey analysis using payment preferences of the Czech e-shops to see what payment methods they offer, which one they prefer and why. Especially if they enable the payment with the payment card and what led them to approve that, or vice versa discouraged them. The fifth part is based on a research from the fourth chapter and its aim is to evaluate the most widely used payment gateway in the Czech Republic. The sixth part deals with the paying preferences of a customer; which method are they using the most, what is their most favourite method and what are the barriers when paying with payment cards on the Internet. Objective of this thesis it to evaluate, based on analyses from customer and merchants point of view, online payments and payments with the payment card. The aim is to find a consensus between customers and merchants, what kind of payment method is preferred by both sides and determine the barriers in paying with the card, since the payment method cash on delivery still prevails on the Czech market.
Process analysis of selling electronic magazines online

This work is focused on business process modeling and subsequent use in, how it works selling electronic magazines online. In the theoretical section describes possible options for modeling languages, then selected BPM notation and described in detail. The second section describes the technologies used to support sales of electronic magazines. In this work an example is Skimagazin magazine. In the final phase of work are given individual detailed models of how the sale works in practice. The models are mainly focused on describing how to communicate with each individual system elements and users or administrators. Due to the large degree of detail models are listed here only the main models for the functioning of online sales. At the end structure of data objects is described.
