Assessment of Risk Related to Work with Heavy Loads

The diploma thesis is focused on the issues of handling heavy loads using a crane. The thesis tries to identify threats in the process. Analysis of the current state evaluates the issue from the perspective of OHS not only in the Czech Republic but also in selected states of the European Union. Furthermore, the analysis discusses the obligations of employees and employers in the field of safety and clarifies the basic concepts of the issue. Based on a model example, the analyzes are performed to that identify the threats with the highest level of risk Subsequently, there are presented measures which should lead to the minimization of the level of risk for identified process threats.
Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment

Thesis Title: Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment The thesis aims to analyse and present the rules of occupational health and safety (OHS). The second goal of the thesis is the research of OHS solutions in atypical forms of employments with regard to current development of working relationships. The thesis also deals with the question of atypical forms of employment and the ensuring of OHS in Germany (GER). The collected information is used for comparison and evaluation of both countries and their attitudes toward OHS in atypical forms of employment. Part of the thesis is also devoted to possible course of OHS in the atypical forms of employment de lege ferenda including potential inspiration from GER in connection with ensuring of OHS. The thesis is mainly based on study of laws, relevant literature, comments and current articles. In the thesis, the descriptive and analytical method are used and at the end supplemented by the comparative one. The thesis is divided into six chapters that are split systematically into subchapters. The first part is focused on the definitions of fundamental terms that are further used in the following chapters. In the introductory subchapters the thesis deals with the term OHS itself, atypical forms of employment, work accidents...
Risk Assessment and Minimization in OSH in Construction Companies

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation and minimization of risks in the area of occupational health and safety (OSH), specifically on risks in the construction industry. The analysis of the current state evaluates the issue of current OSH from the European and national point of view, defines terms and contains basic principles of safe work with construction machines. The main task of this work is to analyze the risk associated with the performed activity on a model example and propose suitable measures for their minimization including financial evaluation.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with a study of suggestions leading to improvement of industrial processes focused on lean processes including Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) in company Continental Automotive Czech Republic, s.r.o. - producer of components for automotive industry. The first chapter covers basic information about the company. The theoretical part describes the determination of key words from the field of Occupational Safety and Health, the lean process and the production process. Based on analysis drawbacks of the production process are found. My own solution proposal contains corrective actions to avoid such drawbacks.

In theoretical part is defined the concepts of production processes, lean manufacturing and occupational health and safety. According analysis are found the problems of production process. The result of this bachelor’s thesis is optimization of the production process and elimination waste including the impact to occupational health and safety in work.
Hazard analysis of toolroom workshop

This master`s thesis deals with a hazard analysis of selected machinery according to an actual legislative documents in Slovakia, which were taken over from Europien Union directives. The thesis is focused on exploring legislation related to the safety of toolroom workshop in the Czech Republic and Germany. Because of that was done the recherché of harmonized standards in these countries. Subsequently is made the identification of hazards under recherched standards and assessment of control system based on the performance level of the system. In the end are all obtained data evaluated and the precautionary measures are suggested. With taking care of economic factors are finally proposed the possibilities of the elimination of risks.
Occupational health and safety management of policemen Městské policie hl. m. Prahy

This thesis analyzes the current settings of occupational health and safety process regarding officers of the Municipal Police of Prague (MPP). The theoretical part provides situational analysis of conditions in which MPP operates. There are also defined key risks for personal safety of municipal policemen, identified methodology for risk management and quality control. The practical part describes and analyzes the process of occupational health and safety at MPP. The result of this work is evaluation of the current process effectiveness and proposal of possible scenarios of further improvement.

This thesis is focused on analysis of ensuring health and safety at ZEA + spol. s r.o., in a business premises Dřevčický Park. The aim of this thesis is to draft measures to reduce risks and formulate and create documentation that the company has not created. In addition the aim is to identify omissions in keeping records in documentation and to identify errors in documentation of control and revision that were not eliminated. Meeting the targets will be achieved through the introduction of OHS, legislative requirements, methods of risk analysis, subsequent analysis of the current state of ensuring OHS in the premises, documentation and deficiencies. The managers will utilize the created documents, proposed measures and identifications of failure to ensure safety and avoid injuries and accidents. Restriction and reduction of the risks will influence safety of employees and customers. Created documents will complete and improve the current system of corporate documentation.
