Personal Information Management over XMPP

This work deals with implementation of personal information manager using the XMPP protocol. It is aimed mainly at most needed tasks in time planning. These task are: keeping of notes, events planning and work with electronic mail. This all in the easiest form so that the functionality could be used by mobile devices with internet access.
Advanced Notes for Android

This thesis deals with a proposal and an implementation of an application for work with notes on the Android operating system. This application uses the sensors of a mobile platform for advanced functions of the application. The first part of thesis deals with the theoretical information about the Android operating system and information about application develop for this operating system. The theoretical part contains proposal of the application, her implementation and the testing.
Web Application for Managing Notes

The thesis deals with design and implementation of a web application for managing tree-structured notes. Its aim is to fulfill the true potential of using computers in this area. It tries to achieve this goal using (1) multiple ways of viewing and editing one data, (2) focusing the data-model primarily on the meaning of stored information instead of appearance and (3) implementing tools for interactive work with text (e.g. attaching multimedia). Apart from the application design itself, the text briefly goes through modern trends in web applications development, it defines the basic concepts in relation to existing tools for managing notes and outlines wide possibilities of further development. The application itself was implemented using technologies such as Polymer, TypeScript or Firebase.

The diploma thesis focuses on the life of Rudolf Jan Count of Wrbna and Freudenthal (1761-1823) and on part of his surviving notes from 1819. The work is divided into four parts. The first part is dedicated to the history of the House of the Wrbna and Freudenthal. The second part describes their principal family seats, the third summarizes the life of Rudolf Jan Nepomuk Count of Wrbna and Freudenthal. The last part provides the analysis and transliteration of his notes.

The main topic of this bachelor's thesis is the diary phenomenon, more specifically diary as a form of art or other visual form, such as photography. The purpose of its theoretical part is to briefly describe the general evolution of the traditional diaries and personal journals and subsequently deal with the diary as a specific form of art piece. This part also introduces Czech visual artists who used to work/still work with the diary phenomenon creatively - Vladimír Fuka, Jiří Kolář, Josef Jindřich Šechtl and František Skála. Theoretical part also deals with the new contemporary virtual forms of diaries such as personal websites, blogs and social networking sites, shows some of their specific examples (chosen from unique public social network profiles/accounts as well as from interesting online art projects). and describes generally the brief history of this phenomenon. The practical part of the thesis introduces author's own photographic diary project consisting of everyday photos taken to show personal feelings during her study stay abroad. The didactical part attempts to bring the diary phenomenon into arts education in schools. It suggests an art project series thematically connected to the theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis.
