Study of bearing noise regarding accuracy of machining
Studýnka, Pavel ; Sabo, Karol (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
This bachalor thesis deals with connection between the quality of surface of raceways of a bearing and vibrations in operation. This thesis describes basic geometrical parameters of a bearing that have main influence on its resulting quality and vibrations. It presents methods to evaluate the quality of the raceways surfaces and their connection between them. As a part of the thesis is an experiment, which should prove, what is the connection between the measuring of quality of the surface of raceways and measuring the vibrations of bearings during the process, by the way used in the company KOYO Olomouc. The quality of raceways is evaluated on a measuring device MUK-F 300 and vibrations on IL 100R/2000.
Root cause analysis of scrap during production of bearing rings in a roller bearing company
Studýnka, Pavel ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis concerns about measuring of rings of bearings from the input material, throughout machining processes, such as turning, heat treatment, grinding, till finishing operations as honing. Purpose of this thesis is to map all the processes in a roller/needle bearing company, measuring of rings of bearings, evaluating data, propose actions leading to decrease the number of scrap product and technical-economical evaluation of changed processes.
The motorcycle diagnostic unit
Smola, Tomáš ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with problematics of air/fuel mixture diagnosis od older carburetor motors. Especially for motors with more than one cylinder. In this thesis are informations about commercial product for diagnosis, brief informations about function of CV caburetor and best setup of fuel mixture. The next step in this thesis will be design, construction and testing of device for the diagnosis air/fuel mixture in practical use. Device will be able to measure mixture and other values witch can be used for best carburetor setup.
The Problems of Application of Intramuscular Injection
Stejskalová, Martina ; Pavlíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Eislerová, Iva (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with application of intramuscular injections that are carried out by nurses in all areas of health care as their frequent daily activities. The objective of this study was to determine whether nurses have sufficient knowledge of the intramuscular injections use, what needles they choose for application on cachectic and obese patients, what injection site they uses mostly, the degree of their knowledge of the Z - tract method, their experience with complications in practice, and finally whether they observe all the principles of the safe and effective application of the intramuscular injections. Parenteral drug injection, needles, preparing doses from bottles of medicines and ampoules are mentioned in brief in the theoretical part. The applications of the intramuscular injections, stab points, the patient positions for application, application procedures, the method of Z - tract, specific applications and special attitudes to children and possible complications are described in the following chapters. The methodology and organization of the survey are depicted and the research findings are drawn in the empirical part of the thesis. General conclusions and proposals how to remove identified deficiencies are summarized in the end.
Norway spruce chloroplast ultrastructure - heterogeneity within a needle.
Glanc, Natália ; Lhotáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kutík, Jaromír (referee)
6 Abstract Temperate forests serve as long term carbon storage and are affected by increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in the atmosphere. Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) is the most abundant conifer in the forests of the Czech Republic, therefore I studied the response of its photosynthetic aparatus to elevated CO2 concentration. The aim of my thesis was to analyze the impact of CO2 concentration on chloroplast ultrastructure in both shaded and exposed needles, focusing on the volume density of starch in the median cross-sections of mesophyll cell chloroplasts. The next aim of the study was to test whether the chloroplasts of the first subepidermal layer of mesophyll are representative for the whole needle with respect to starch volume density. The study was performed on eleven years-old Norway spruce trees that had been exposed to ambient or elevated concentration of CO2 for six years; the experiment had been carried out at the Bílý Kříž experimental station in the Beskids Mountains in cultivation chambers with automatically adjustable windows. First year needles of trees grown under abient (382-395ppm) or elevated (700 ppm) CO2 concentration were collected in October 2011. The needles were used to prepare ultrathin sections and the images of median chloroplast cross-sections were...
Study of quantitative parameters of Norway spruce needle structure under the effect of elevated CO₂ concentration and different irradiance
Kubínová, Zuzana ; Lhotáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Urban, Otmar (referee) ; Gebauer, Roman (referee)
Zuzana Kubínová: Study of Quantitative Parameters of Norway Spruce Needle Structure under the Effect of Elevated CO2 Concentration and Different Irradiance, Doctoral Thesis, Prague 2019 Abstract Atmospheric concentration of CO2 is increasing, while its influence on plants is still not fully elucidated. Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst.) is an abundant conifer tree in European temperate and boreal forests, which behave as carbon sink in the global carbon cycle. The physiological response to elevated CO2 concentration may be interconnected with changes in leaf anatomy and morphology. Needle structure is also determined by other factors in addition to CO2 concentration, irradiance being the most important one. Thus, effect of irradiance was also included in our studies. The effects of elevated CO2 concentration and irradiance on Norway spruce needle structure were studied using new applications of well-established quantitative methods and novel methods enabling effective and unbiased analysis of needle structural traits. The General Procrustes analysis showed to be effective for needle shape on cross section comparison and the disector method proved to be suitable for chloroplast number estimates. The influence of elevated CO2 concentration and different irradiance on needle structure was studied at two...
