Rehberger, Marek ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Juráň, Radovan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals in its theoretical part with LPWA communication technologies in the licensed frequency spectrum, specific technologies LTE Cat-M1 and NB-IoT. The theoretical part summarizes the terms concerning to LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network), licensed and unlicensed technologies, SmartGrids, NB-IoT and LTE Cat-M1. The use of LPWA technologies in the field of SmartGrids is described and the idea of Smart Metering in buildings is used in the work. Subsequently, in the practical part for the LTE Cat-M1 technology, the implementation of communication scenarios for data transmission within SmartGrids is performed using the tools Network Simulator 3 (NS-3) and the LENA module. The results of the simulations are clearly processed in the form of graphs and tables.

This bachelor thesis is focused on Manet networks and creation of web application for generate configuration file which is simplifying simulation of Manet networks. The theoretical part concerns with description of Manet networks, distribution of routing protocols and closer look on five of the protocols. In the next part is described simulator Ns-3 with his content for simulations. The practical part is describing creation of configuration file and his elements. For that was created web application in PHP language. All used technologies for creation of the application are described in this thesis. The web application is fully processed and operational.
Power line grid model
Csiba, Patrik ; Sláčik, Ján (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis analyzes the PLC communications in various scenarios. The first part of the thesis describes the principle of narrowband and broadband communication and the analysis of electrical lines. The next part describes the NS-3 framework, simulation scenarios for establishment the effect of branches and other parameters on the baud rate. The last part determines the minimum number of repeaters and their location on the extended topology.
Experimental MANET network in NS-3 simulator
Vadkerti, Gabriel ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartl, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem of MANET networks. It presents routing protocols, their types, advantages and disadvantages. The protocols, such as AODV and OSPF, are analyzed in detail. The next section describes the NS-3 simulator and the meaning of its key codes. There are named and explained the most common mobility models and their correct writing into the source code. A MANET network simulation is created and a program for indicating the routes of packets through the network is introduced. The next describes traffic models for data networks. A simple traffic model for NS-3 and a program for graphic representation of this traffic were created. The DCE module for NS-3 is introduced in the last section and a demonstrational program of using Linux stack is created.
Simulation of mobile ad hoc network in NS-3 environment
Kolaja, Lukáš ; Hrouza, Ondřej (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bacherlor thesis is theoretically analyze the principles of wireless mobile ad hoc networks. The thesis describes the types of routing protocols such as AODV, DSDV or OLSR. Further describes the types of mobility models which is typically used in MANET. The thesis also deals with issues like use, safety and development of mobile ad hoc networks. The goal of the practical part is create an application which can parse an XML document that generates simulation that is already created. The application is written in PHP language and output data from this application is inserted to the databse by using SQL commands. From the database is easy to read the data from the original XML document.

Navzdory pokrokům v rámci bezdrátových sítí v přímé blízkosti člověka stále systémy 5. generace postrádají dostatečnou šířku pásma a dostatečně nízkou odezvu.
Design of laboratory tasks focused on the OLSR protocol.
Pecina, Martin ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
An ad hoc mobile network is a collection of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis. In order to simplify communication within the network, a routing protocol is used to discover routes between nodes. The primary goal of such an ad hoc network routing protocol is correct and efficient route establishment between a pair of nodes so that messages may be delivered on time. Route construction should be done with a minimum of overhead and bandwidth consumption. This document describes the Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol for mobile ad hoc networks. The key concept used in the protocol is that of multipoint relays (MPRs). MPRs provide an efficient mechanism for flooding control traffic by reducing the number of transmissions required.
