New forms of victimization in the Czech Republic: incidents at labour offices.

The aim of the theses is to elaborate on the problematics of theoretical aspects of victims of criminal acts. The work's main concern is the area of problematics of workplace victimization. This topic shall therefore be investigated deeply in the theoretical part of the theses as well. The practical part of the work will depict and process the specific characteristics of the mentioned problematics and in relation to it workplace victimization of employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau will be further looked on. In the theses we mention and define the basic terms connected to the chosen problematics. The aim of that is to point out their importance in relation to other disciplines, especially those which are related to victimological research and problematics of victims of criminal acts. Nowadays, the topic of workplace victimization, in other words victimization undergone when in work, is more and more frequently researched and looked up by laics, academic people and even the media. The dominant of the second part of the theses is a focus on employees of Czech Republic's Employment Bureau. In the work we analysed, from the data provided by the Bureau, the criminal or violent incidents which happened on the workplace there. Moravskoslezský region population forecast to 2050 Abstract The main goal of this thesis is to calculate Moravskoslezský region population forecast to 2050 and show how future population growth will likely be in the next decades. It includes a detailed population development analysis which is an important part of this thesis. Moravskoslezský region is still one of the most populous regions of Czechia, despite of natural decrease and negative net migration in past 21 years (except 2007 and 2008). Based on the analysis, we can assume that population decline will continue in the future and population forecast results confirm this hypothesis. Declining population size will be followed by significant age-structure changes in population and progressive demographic ageing. From the perspective of future population development Moravskoslezský region will face brand new situations and related problems. Relation of People from the Tesinsko and Karvinsko Region toward the Polish and German Occupation

The bachelor thesis "The Relation of People from the Tesinsko Region Towards the Polish and German Occupation" is focusing on attitude of inhabitants of Czech (former Czechoslovakian) part of the Tesinko between the years 1938 and 1940. In the time period mentioned, the regime has changed twice in the region. The necessary section of such a work/study is also a study/elaboration of impacts and manifestations of the new regimes on the inhabitants. Before the core of the thesis itself, information of social and political history of region are mentioned. Testimonies of five contemporary witnesses represent the sources of the main topic. Moreover, there are the views of literature and archival sources included. The outcome of the thesis may therefore provide a material for comparison of rather local-based testimonies with broad, easier-accessed literature and archival-like materials

Analysis of public financial support of information society development in Moravskoslezský region

The aim of this thesis is analysis of public financial support of information society development in the Moravskoslezsky region. At first the work focuses on general information policy in the European Union and the Czech Republic. Then it analyzes programs and funds, from which the republic was able to draw in the period 2004-2006 and 2007-2013. In the following sections main attention is paid to the Moravskoslezsky region and its local information policy and implemented project in each period separately. The thesis is closed with the final comparison of both periods with an indication of possible direction of future development of information society.

Barrier-free sports halls and gyms in the Moravian-Silesian region

Title: Possibilities of the use of sport facilities by wheelchairs in the Moravian region and the perception of their sport activities by the public Objective: The aim of the work is to prepare a list of sports clubs of wheelchairs and suitable indoor sports facilities for their activities in the Moravian region. Based on the knowledge it is possible to create a CD presentation, which can serve for staff of rehabilitation centers and the organizers of competitions for people with disability in the region. It would increase awareness of their clients about sports in this locality. Method: The thesis is presented as a preliminary study which used a quantitative research method in the public inquiry. A part of the thesis is a questionnaire survey - it focuses on public awareness of the Moravian- Silesian region of sport for disabled and the perception of architectural modifications. Results: Summary of available information on sports halls and gymnasiums for wheelchairs in the Moravia-Silesia region may serve for organizers of events or trauma rehabilitation work. Knowledge which were found out in via the form of a public questionnaire may be used in the formation of social and sporting program of the Moravia-Silesia region for people with a disability. Issue of brownfields - case study of the former school in Heřmanice

The bachelor thesis deals with a brownfield site cases. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part provides different views on the definition of brownfields. The brownfield typology is also heterogeneous like the definition of the brownfield. The theoretical part is also focused on several approaches, which are able to solve the examined issue and funding options of the regeneration. The practical part is dedicated to description of brownfields in Moravskoslezský region which is the most affected area in Czech Republic. The central part of the practical part comes with a concrete solution to the complex of the former school in Heřmanice u Polomi in the Moravskoslezský region. The thesis works with the brownfield reconstruction of the rest home. The aim of this work is to define appropriate solution of brownfield project selected in Moravskoslezský region.
