The Master’s thesis deals with the proposal of marketing strategy questions for store building materials in Velké Mezirící. Based on theoretical knowledge and analysis of present conditions of the store, marketing strategy was developed. It is supposed to improve incomes and strengthen awareness of existence store at the market in Velké Mezirící.

This Master’s thesis evaluates the survey that mapped using management tools in contemporary practice. Respondents were senior and middle management of companies from the Czech Republic. They had to answer what they expect from the tools and what they think about the various claims concerning the parameters of the attractiveness of the market and competition. The survey was focused on portfolio analysis.

The aim of the bachelor is to evaluate the competitiveness of selected company ABC s.r.o. The work contains six chapters. In the work are explained the concepts of competition, competitiveness. Further, the procedures of specific methods that analyze competitiveness are explained. In the next part is introduced the company ABC s.r.o. Individual analyzes that evaluate competitiveness are applied to the company. On the basis of the analyzes, there are recommendations formulated for the enterprise, which should lead to an increase in the competitiveness of the company.
