Universal Bootloader for Kinetis K60 Microcontroller
Krůpa, Tomáš ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The scope of this work was to design a bootloader for Kinetis K60, an ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller. The bootloader should simplify the process of loading user applications to the flash memory of the microcontroller on the Minerva development kit. Based on a quick research of existing bootloader solutions, new bootloader was designed together with communication protocol that would suit the needs for transfer of both the file data and configuration information through all the supported communication interfaces - USB, SDHC, Ethernet and RS-232. On the PC side, development of bootloader’s application library and two supporting utilities with graphical and command line interfaces was made. The system can be used out of the box as well as it can be further extended in the future.

Wireless Communication Module for Educational Kit Minerva
Fiľo, Richard ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
In this thesis, we are concerned with the design of an extension module that will provide wireless communication capability to the Minerva platform. The result of our work is an adapter that is attached to the Minerva platform and then our expansion module is inserted into it using an M.2 connector. The module supports Wi-Fi 4.2, BLE 5 and LoRa standards. For the selected module, we have created a communication interface designed to work easily with the module. In the following, we present worked examples and a demo application using this module. All components are tested and work as we expect.

Exploitation of HDMI Interface on Minerva Educational Platform
Marek, Jan ; Čekan, Ondřej (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the possibilities of video transfer via HDMI interface. Based on the results a circuit driver TFP410 will be designed, and both the circuit driver and generator of video data for this circuit will be implemented. The target platform in this thesis is school learning developing kit Minerva with MCU Freescale (NXP) Kinetis K60and FPGA Xilinx Spartan 6. The designed solution of the controller is a device controller which transfers communication from MCU to HDMI/DVI digital transmitter TI TFP410. MCU communicates with the device controller over FlexBus. All communication between the transmitter and the controller is realized over I2C bus. The device controller interface and MCU driver library must provide easy usage. The functionality of both the controller and MCU library is demonstrated on two demo applications (games Tetris and Sokoban).

System for Programming Minerva Platform
Dohnal, Michal ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Bidlo, Michal (advisor)
Theoretical part of this thesis studies several concepts and interfaces being used for programming microcontrollers (MCUs) and reconfiguration of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) with closer look at those, which are available for MCU Kinetis K60 and FPGA Spartan-6 in circuitry given by the architecture of educational kit Minerva. This knowledge is employed in practical section which describes deployment of the supporting firmware belonging to group of firmwares so-called bootloaders. Finally the application QDevKit3 is introduced, that is based on this firmware, representing effective and fast way for easy programming of FLASH memory on Kinetis MCU using USB interface.

PhDr. Klára Červenková a její přínos ženám v 1. polovině 20. století
DŘEVOVÁ, Lenka
The bachelor's thesis will be introduced by outlining the term women's issues, the historical transformation of the position of women and their job opportunities. There will be reminded on development emancipation movement during 19th and 20th century. The main part deals with a life journey of high school teacher, doctor Klára Červenková (1873-1945), her study at Minerva Grammar School, at Charles University in Prague and at School of Pedagogical Studies in Prague. This bachelor´s thesis is also about pedagogical work as a high school professor with reference to the issue of lay morality. In the work is mentioned her participation in women´s clubs and political associations- Committee on Women's Suffrage and the Women's National Council. Moreover, the relationship with other activists of the emancipation movement will be described. Also, will be introduced her participation in Committee on Aid for Democratic Spain, her negative attitude to Nazism and the associated fateful stay in the Ravensbrück concentration camp.
