Kusovská, Marie ; Šídlo, Luděk (advisor) ; Fialová, Ludmila (referee)
The Influence of Military Area on Population Development of the Town Milovice Abstract The objective of this study is to describe population development of the town Milovice, which was influenced by the existence of a military area in its neighbourhood. There were situated several armies during its 88 years history. Each army, especially the last Soviet Army, built many housing units in the area. New residents have been moving into the town since the ongoing building reconstructions started, in the 90s. The residents are mostly young couples or families witch children, which is a typical phenomenon for suburban areas. There have been a significant rejuvenation of the town's age structure, for example in 2008 the average age was 29,8 years. The study is focused on the period of 1991-2008, in which the particular components of population development are described using selected indicators. Their level is compared with the level of the Czech Republic. A finding is being concluded that a high proportion of people at young age in the population of Milovice causes differences in the development of certain indicators, such as the total fertility rate, which was significantly higher than in the Czech Republic. In conclusion, there are outlined possible variations of the town's future population development.

Kusovská, Marie ; Šídlo, Luděk (advisor) ; Fialová, Ludmila (referee)
Military Area as a Determinant of Microregion Population Development Marie Kusovská Abstract The study deals with military area as a specific factor of microregion population development. The objective of the study is to describe and demonstrate the different effects of current and former military areas on neighbourhood population's demographic behaviour. The analysis is focused on the period of 1995-2010 and takes place in five current military areas: Boletice, Brdy, Březina, Hradiště and Libavá and three former military areas: Mladá (today's municipality Milovice), Ralsko and Dobrá Voda. The study examines the population development and its structure, natural and mechanical movement, including an analysis of migration directions. There is a finding that the municipality Milovice and Ralsko differs significantly from other areas in young age structure, high levels of total fertility rate and the intensity of immigration. At the level of mortality no significant differences were indicated. Therefore, it appears that a military area can be considered as a determinant of microregion population development, but it depends on the military uses of this area and in case of its cancelation it depends on the future civilian use.

It deals with problems of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, sexting and cybergrooming in the youngest city of the Czech Republic, in Milovice. It describes the dangerous behaviour patterns that the children at the age of 11-15 years (i.e. the second stage of elementary schools) in that city are confronted with and that they tend to follow-up. The research shows how they perceive risks of the Internet and how much they trust strange people online. It finds out whether the children make relations with strangers and whether they meet them in real world, where they would look for help if needed and whether they are familiar with some projects focused on the Internet safety. The definition of risk factors of the new media and specification of child users are crucial for the thesis. The thesis also briefly describes Czech legislation connected with risks of cyberspace and outlines the profiles of the aggressors and their victims. It shows possible after-effects of cyber criminality on the real examples. It introduces various tools, projects and children and parents approaches that help them with the prevention and minimization of risks. The empiric part of the thesis is solved by quantitative method. In...
