Determination of anomalous area of homogeneous earth dike of small reservoir
Sedláková, Alena ; Maleňák,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of changes occurring in the earth dike of small water reservoirs Bezedník III. in the village Kobeřice and the definition of anomalous areas identified by the indirect method of measuring electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS). The study conducted on the basis of data processing from monitoring, which is carried out once a month. The thesis follows the solution of projects E!3838, E!4981 and E!7614 in international EUREKA program.
Study of Possibility to Build Small Dams near Vyškov
Richter, Štěpán ; Žatecký, Stanislav (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of small reservoirs at Vyškov na Moravě. Projected reservoirs’ dams are earth-fill and homogenous and each one is equipped with the bottom water outlet and the emergency spillway. The first reservoir, located on the tributary of the Drnůvka river, has the fountain type emergency spillway and the feed pipe bottom water outlet. The reservoir of the Merchanice river, situated at the Vyškov airport, is equipped with the lateral emergency spillway and the feed pipe bottom water outlet. The third design is the reconstruction of the Marchanka reservoir projecting the dam raise. For this small reservoir two variants of functional installations were elaborated.
The design of the multipurpose small water reservoir
Prokop, Pavel ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part covers a classification of small water reservoirs and a necessary documentation for design of water reservoirs. Second part deals with the conceptual design of the small water reservoir in the specific area. This part also include graphic attachments.
Revitalization of the Hradisko Small Water Reservoir in the Radslavice Cadastral Area
Mrázová, Iva ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce the topic of small water reservoirs as an important landscape element, which contributes not only to creation of ecological stability, but also improves the quality of water in the catchment area, the microclimate, as well as helps to increase the groundwater reserves. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and offers a brief description of the small water reservoirs, along with their main function, structure, history, and factors affecting their condition and causing the lack of them in the Czech Republic. The second part is practical and focuses on a review and the current state of a small water reservoir Hradisko in Radslavice. This part also includes a suitable suggestion for a solution regarding this case. The thesis was prepared in cooperation with the former mayor of Pustiměř and residents of Zelená Hora and Radslavice.
Proposal of small earth dam
Stoklas, Jan ; Duchan, David (referee) ; Špano, Miroslav (advisor)
The subjekt of this bachelor thesis is the study of a small water reservoir in a particular locality. It consists of a text part and a drawing part. The text part contains brief summary of the issues of small water reservoirs, description of the locality, determination of design flow, needed hydrotecchnical calculations and design of expected technical solution. The drawings show the design of the dam, the combinated funtional object and the modified flooded area.
Design of a small water reservoir
Pojsl, Václav ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
The Master´s thesis is elaborated in a study small reservoirs. It is a container with a homogeneous dam with associated security object. The technical design solution tank based on the ČSN 75 2410 "Small water reservoirs". Water reservoir will serve as an ecological and landscaping features in the landscape. Will increase the biodiversity of the landscape and contribute to the ecological stability of the territory. The littoral zone of the reservoir area will serve in the future as a habitat for a variety of organisms. Accompanying vegetation serve to integrate small water tank to the ecological corridor.
The small reservoirs as part of cultural landscape
Portová, Nikola ; Vrba, Ing Jan (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
While the title of this thesis is “Small reservoirs as a part of the cultural landscape”, the focus of this study is much broader. The analysis goes beyond small water reservoirs, discussing both the historical and technical aspects of their restoration with emphasis on the south Moravian reservoir systems. The opening chapter explores the history of the relationship water has with both society and nature. In the second chapter, the focus shifts onto the various roles, the physical and technical characteristics, as well as the methods for restoring small water reservoirs. In the final chapter, the emphasis shifts from reservoirs to ponds - and their utilization for farming fish. This chapter starts by exploring the current pond systems across Czech Republic, and then compares today’s south Moravian pond systems to their historical beginnings.
Reconstruction of the Hradisko Small Water Reservoir in the Radslavice Cadastral Area
Mrázová, Iva ; Kostelecký, Jiří (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, called „Reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko in the cadastral area of Radslavice“, focuses on the complex process of a reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko. This work follows up on the bachelor’s thesis, in which the current state of the Hradisko reservoir was described in detail. Based on the survey of the dam and the flood using a GPS device, detailed project documentation was prepared. Within the solution for the reconstruction of Hradisko reservoir, a repair of the dam and the increase of the crown of the dam is proposed, new functional objects are dimensioned, the bottom is cleared of mud, including modifications in the flood, and other necessary steps for proper functioning of the crumbling no longer compliant reservoir are described. Functional objects are processed for two variants of the solution. The first option consists of the design of a bottom outlet and a safety spillway, and the second alternative involves the design of a combined functional block. In the end, the total costs of both options are quantified and compared on the basis of an indicative item budget.
Reconstruction of the Pod kravínem Dam
Lehotská, Lívia ; Dvořák, Bořek (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the reconstruction of small reservoir in collaboration with the company VZD Invest s. r. o. The first part aims at the basic description of the thesis subject – the small reservoir. Characteristics of small reservoir and calculations are processed in the second part. The third part is focused on the description of the current conditions. The main part consist of characteristics calculations of the small reservoir and proposal of the necessary reconstruction for future technical function. In conclusion, safety assessment of the proposed measures are evaluated.
Monitoring of filtration processes in earth dams
Gardavská, Zuzana ; Bartušek,, Karel (referee) ; Satrapa,, Ladislav (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
This doctoral thesis with the title „Monitoring of filtration processes in earth dams“ represents possibilities of using electrical impedance spectrometry method (EIS) and devices Z- meter II and Z- meter 2A based on it for using a monitoring earth-fill dikes of small water reservoirs. The devices are developed in the Laboratory of Water Management Research Institute of Water Structures Faculty of Civil Engineering Brno University of Technology through international projects E!3838 and E!4981 in EUREKA program. As part of submitted doctoral thesis the monitoring has been conducted at two locations – earth-fill dike of small water reservoir Bezedník III in the cadastral area Kobeřice and earth-fill dike of fish pond Rybník u kostelíka near the village Jevíčko. The general guidance has been compiled based on the knowledge and experience of measurements to monitor earth-fill dike using method EIS. This guide covers the use of method and device Z-meter II from the choice of location and monitored the profile, selection and installation of probes into the dam body, the preparation of measurement location, configuration of the measuring apparatus including a user program Z-scan, through the process of measurement and recommended method of processing data.
