This thesis describes the design of optimal options for financing the construction og a low energy house. In the introductory section describes the characteristics of the two products designed to finance housing, mortgage loan and building savings. Another section is devoted to the characteristics and principles of construction of a low energy house, which is related to low energy and less than saving the house. The final section focuses on the selection of a suitable vision of the comparable financial products.
The carbon footprint of the building industry and its theoretical value
Halama, Miroslav ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
Presented theses dealing with the complex influence of human activity on the environment. Particularly provides the calculation of carbon footprint volume consumed during manufacturing of raw materials used for a normal and a low-energy house. The calculation of the energy performance certificate for both variants is also included. To evaluate of economical demanding investment to both mentioned houses including carbon dioxide disposal, the theoretical calculation of the price of carbon footprint equivalent has to be determined. The aim of this study is an investigation of carbon footprint in construction industry focusing on the production of carbon dioxide during the realization of a normal and low-energy house.
Economic Advantages and Disadvantages of Passive Houses in the Czech Republic and the European Union
PETRŮ, Zlatuše
Subject of this thesis - Economic advantages and disadvantages of passive houses in the Czech Republic and the EU - is very topical with regards to building boom and the environment and related issues of energy-saving housing. Comparison of economic advantages and disadvantages between passive houses and low-energy buildings is also interesting considering connection modern, comfortable and environmentallyeffective housing. Reducing the energy performance of buildings is currently a fundamental trend and an opportunity for the future, either for individuals as well as for society. It is the result of international legislation dealing with the energy performance of buildings, which is addressed by Directive 2002/91 / EC of the European Parliament and Council of the energy performance buildings. The main target of the practical part of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the return on investment in passive and low energy houses. The starting point of the calculation is the specific energy consumption for each type of house that is defined by the standard. The main benefit of this work is a finding based on the annual operating costs, which combined with the amount of the initial investment was calculated by the return on investment. This is 19 years for passive houses, which is lower than for low energy houses (28 years). This difference is influenced by the two main factors, namely the "Green Savings" subsidy for passive houses and the energy efficiency of passive houses. The calculation has taken into account the current and constant energy prices. It can be assumed that energy prices will rise in the future, making the investment return differential between passive and low-energy houses even more pronounced. The results of the return on investment are also consistent with those reported by different suppliers and developers.
Energy saving buildings
Abstract: This work is concerned with questions of energy saving buildings, including introduction of reasons for their building-up. It refers about their characteristics and evaluated parameters for meeting it's requirements. Further it deals with the most important conditions for choosing of location for energy saving buildings and about recommended zoning of rooms according to cardinal points depending on solar radiation. Indicates the posibilities of composition...
