Design of material flow using discrete event simulation

The content of this diploma thesis is to create a simulation model of the logistics chain of the production area of an industrial plant in order to design the logic control of material flow. Plant Simulation software from the company Siemens PLM Software is used to create the simulation model. The diploma thesis consists of system analysis of the researched area of the production plant. With the help of the simulation model, simulation experiments and evaluation of the obtained results are made. According to the results, the conclusions are drawn.
Reverse Logistics in the Selected Company

This diploma thesis is focused on the study of reverse logistics in the selected company. The subject of this analysis is MSV Metal Studenka, a.s., which produces components for rail vehicles. Diploma thesis is devided into three parts. The first part is focused on theoretical basis. The second part continues with introduction of the company and analysis of logistic processes, with ephasis on reverse logistics. In the third part there are presented suggestions, which should lead to the improvement of the reverse logistics processes.

The bachelor's thesis deals with order processing in the selected manufacturing company Medi-Globe s.r.o. Based on acquired information the bachelor's thesis analyses the current situation, from the initial order acceptance, through the whole manufacturing process, to the final expedition of the finished product. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to suggest corrective measures that will lead to an improvement of order processing in the company.

The subject of the diploma thesis is storage and current storage technology in a business company. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis of logistics, supply, international trade and especially warehousing. The practical part is focused on the current situation in the company and inventory analysis. Based on the analysis and all the findings, two proposals were submitted that could contribute to the company to improve the current storage and storage technology and thus increase customer satisfaction.

The diploma thesis titled Risks of logistics management in a company deals with the analysis of flow quality in the logistics chain of selected internet shop Notino.cz. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part describes the theoretical bases on the basis of specialized literature. The analytical part analyzes the current state of quality, processes in the enterprise, and an analysis of the causes and consequences. The design part draws conclusions from the analyzes, proposes and looks for measures to reduce or eliminate the identified risks.

This bachelor thesis evaluates the framework of logistics at DHL Supply Chain s.r.o. and their customer Gross. It emphasizes on processes and optimization in stocks. In its theoretical part the thesis deals with the characteristics of the logistics, process maps, supply chain, SWOT analysis and employee survey. In the practical part there are two processes developed to process maps, comparison storage systems and employee satisfaction. As a result, these findings will improve the design process, efficiency and employee satisfaction.

This Bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of ordering process improvement by company. It is focused on the flow of goods from producer to final customer and concerns on customers´ requirements. In first chapters of the thesis the concept of order, customers and logistics is defined. The logistics section is very wide, that is why the paper deals more with distributive logistics and related areas such as packaging, handling, stocking, transportation and communication. In the next part of the thesis, the theoretic knowledge is used to analyze the situation in specific company - MOTIP DUPLI Ltd. Finally, some recomendations and trends which the company will have to deal with in a near future are presented.

The theoretical basics defines the basic concepts of logistics, supply, storage centralizing and their optimization. The analytical part describes a company "Gelima, a.s." and its production program and deals with storage optimization with a focus on the reduction of storage and distribution costs. The aim is to merge the external storage spaces into a single logistics centre and assess the overall benefits of the financial and non-financial in nature.
