Industry 4.0 in according Design and Application of Production Machines
Serykh, Pavel ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of CNC manufacturing machines and their use in accordance with the principles of Industry 4.0. The first part is a search of the current state in the field of the most frequently used CNC production machines in engineering according to their design and application. In the second part described principles, basic attributes and key technologies of Industry 4.0, defined concept. The last part is on top of the project conceptual workplace with CNC manufacturing machines in the premises of the technical high school VUTBR in accordance with the principles and tenets of Industry 4.0 and the evaluation of the results achieved.
Design of digital twinn of CNC machine tool
Staněk, Václav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with design of digital twins of machine tools and application of designed procedure on a case study – digital twin of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. In the first part are described current roles of digital twins in the field of machine tools and also hardware and software options for creating them. Software and hardware tools by Siemens (Mechatronics Concept Designer and SIMIT) are used for the case study. The complex procedure of creating the digital twin is designed in the second part, starting with preparation of a model, ending with the virtual commissioning of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. The procedure is described in detail, including preparation of 3D model of the machine tool, assignment of physical properties and joints, preparation of PLC, connection all the elements of the whole system: Sinumerik – SIMIT – Mechatronics Concept Designer and controlling the twin via CNC automation system. Output of the thesis is the virtually commissioned machine tool, capable of being controlled by Sinumerik 840D sl. This is the first step in development of the full-fledged digital twin of machine tool, which can be used for testing the functionality and capability of this new technology in industry.
Manufacturing control algorithms for Industry 4.0 demonstrator
Klement, Petr ; Sýkora, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the topic of Industry 4.0 demonstrator called Barman. The theoretical part is devoted first to what Industry 4.0 is, then to cyber-physical systems. The next element is an introduction to the status and functionality of Barman. The practical part is devoted to the commissioning of an Industry 4.0 testbed called Barman, which is a school model of an autonomous beverage mixing line, and the implementation of a virtual production mode in the different parts of the cells located in Barman. The next goal is to integrate with the existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that houses the individual drink recipes and their properties. The correctness of the integration of the MES system with Barman is also tested in the practical part not only in the virtual bridge. For the full functionality of the device, some hardware and software parts need to be tuned both on the Barman and in the MES system.
