Client-server search engine for optimal public transport routes

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a client-server based program for finding the optimal path in public transport networks. Theoretical basics describe the Traveling salesman problem and mention some methods for finding its solution. This chapter is followed by a theoretical design of the application itself. Next chapter describes chosen technologies to be used. The last chapter describes the realization of the application itself. Reached goals are described in the conclusion.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a mobile application that allows user to use a chatbot to search for interesting places and events in Brno. The application is developed on Android operating system using Kotlin language. It offers the user the possibility of communicating with the chatbot using hint buttons. It is implemented using the Rasa framework. The application offers the possibility to browse all events or places and view their detailed information. The user also has the possibility to view all items on the map. The data is stored on the server in a database where it is managed by the backend. It takes care of storing, processing and filtering the data. It is placed on the server together with the chatbot.
BookSharing – Mobile Application for Book Sharing

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a mobile application for lending books between users. Users can add books to lend and also borrow them from other users, with the option of paying for the loan. The application is developed for the Android operating system using the Kotlin programming language. The application communicates with a server that is also developed in Kotlin using the Ktor framework. The server handles the storage, filtering, and processing of data that are stored in the server database and that are necessary for the proper operation of the application. The application's user interface and user experience were tested with six users and the results were above average.
