Coaching in Construction Engineering

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with what today’s modern era of technology in construction management looks like. The thesis goes on to deal with some basic concepts, the main tasks of management, the ethics of managers and the handling and management of change. The work expands into a discussion on coaching. Specifically the practice of coaching, what coaching is as a concept, and the application of coaching when working with people. Finally, the dialogue moves onto present the basic tools available to managers, as well as the effective application of those tools. The end of this thesis is devoted to practical verification using a questionnaire, and concludes with his evaluation.
Internal coaching

This thesis is dealing with internal coaching programmes in organizations. It bases on the theory of coaching method, coaching models and its forms and it describes the process of coaching dialogues. It also confronts coaching with psychotherapy and talks about the role of a coach and requirements for his expertise in the methodology. The thesis is describing internal coaching programmes in general and include specific examples from practice. They talk about reasons and advantages of internal coaching compared to the external. A part of this is a model of internal coaching programme for the environment of a law firm. The model is showing the possible connection of internal coaching with the existing in-company processes and the concept of key competencies of an organization. The thesis is not only following the existing internal coaching models, it is also evaluating them and outlining possible potential of internal coaching programmes in companies.
Providing of career counselling to pupils with special educational needs

The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part and research part. The theoretical part of the work itself has three parts in its content. In the first part you will find information about the education of pupils with special educational needs, important legislation, information about support measures, and about school counselling facilities. The second part is focused on the different types of learning disabilities, the assessment of pupils with learning disabilities, how to diagnose them and how to support them during lessons. At the end of the theoretical part there is a section devoted to career counselling because it is associated with the research of my bachleor thesis. At the centre of attention are the methods of the career advisor, his competences, information about the clients and also the activities of the advisor. The research section is focused on the experience of career counselors, educational consultant. At the end of a practical part of my work are shown the research results, because the goal was to find out, how quality the service for these pupils is, how succesful are they after meetings with counselors, and witch methods are used for a work with the pupils. This bachelor focus on different leadership styles with an emphasis on good employee motivation. Nowadays it is more a more important and harder to keep the empleyees motivated and therefore coaching and motivation are becoming increasingly common means managers. The theoretical part is reader closer familiar with leadership a different types of motivation a coaching. The practical part is focused on the work of managers with their employees. In this part is done sociological research, a directed interview, which will help us compare different approaches of managers to their subordinate and then recommending the best proces.
Personal development in OVB Allfinanz, a.s.

This thesis focuses on personal development. Describes the elements of personal development in terms of psychological, social and moral. It includes communication, assertivity and comprehensively defines the issue of the role of coaching in personal development. In the practical part of this thesis are described in details issues of personal development in the company OVB Allfinanz, a.s. The analysis is conducted by questionnaire survey. It contains results and a proposal for improving the state of personal development within the company.
