Intergenerational programs in seniors education

The work deals with the issue of intergenerational programmes, their position in the senior education and mapping their distribution in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is based on the latest findings in intergenerational projects and studies conducted mainly in the last decade which are listed in utilised sources. The framework focuses on the age specifics, their needs, trends of active aging, intergenerational solidarity and inter-generational education and learning in the context of lifelong and life-wide learning, especially in terms of grandparent and grandchildren generation relation. The work is supplemented by information from online surveys. It indicates that intergenerational programs in the Czech Republic meets the objectives of international and national strategies, increasing their offer is still inadequate
Grandparents in the educational process

This bachelor's thesis concerns relationships of grandparents and grandchildren. The theoretical part focuses at the relationships from grandparent's and child's point of view. It describes the role of grandparents in education, interactions of children and grandparents and transformation of the relationship depending on the age of the child. The thesis also examines grandparents in the role of important adult and in the concept of intergenerational learning. There is a presentation of my research project in the second part. This project is focused on the transformation of the grandparents and grandchildren relationships along with the age of the children, and different expressions of the relationships depending on the grandparent's sex.
Intergenerational Learning in Education of Preschool Children

The thesis is focused on the intergenerational learning in families of preschool children. The first, theoretical part, discusses the ongoing intergenerational learning in families and possibilities of intergenerational programs outside the family. The second, practical part, examines whether and how progress the intergenerational learning in families with preschool children and deals with the parentʼs attitudes toward intergenerational program in kindergarten. Research is carried out via survey in families of children, structured interviews with parents and observation and interviews with children in kindergarten. One part of the thesis is to create the design and implementation of a project focused on intergenerational learning in cooperation of kindergarten and senior citizen home and subsequent reflection process, which arises during intergenerational activities between children and seniors from non-family environment.
Using of leisure time in families with pre-school children in the region of the city Pelhřimov

The thesis deals with leisure time in families with pre-school children in the region of the city Pelhřimov. It desribes conception of the leisure time in families with one or more children. The theoretic part talks about family, follows up its meanings and functions in human life. There is a short description of development of the family in modern time and some specifics of the families with younger preschool children too. Then there are desribed relationships in family (depending on the number of children in the family) and an intergenerational learning process. The next section is devoted to leisure time and its role in human life. We will find there a definition of a leisure time, a brief look at the historical evolution of this phenomenon in modern time and some of its specifics in contemporary family life. The work next deals with some socio-psychological characteristics of younger pre-school children with regard for leisure time. There are written some characteristics of the Pelhřimov?s region related to leisure time. The researching part of the work describes how the conception of the leisure time looks in the family of younger pre-school children in the Pelhřimov?s region. It highlights some of the differences in the conception among families with one or more children too. In a selected population sample survey was carried out using semi-structured interviews. They were then processed using a triple-coding grounded theory.
