Interactive application in teaching mathematics at the second grade of primary school using Smart Lab and Smart Response technology.

The diploma thesis deals with the use of interactive educational applications in mathematics teaching at the 2nd level of primary schools. The theoretical part will describe current technologies for interactive teaching. Further, the work with the Smart Notebook environment, especially its components Smart Lab and Smart Response 2 will be described. Research of mathematics teachers' experience with Smart LAB and Smart Response 2 will be conducted. In the practical part will be selected created materials from freely accessible sources, which contain many mostly older materials, and will be performed their evaluation. Further, will be created a set of educational applications for teaching mathematics in the 6th and 7th years of elementary school. These applications will then be verified in my own continuous teaching practice.

The theoretical part deals with particular types of whiteboards and software of different companies. It introduces the basics and possibilities in use of interactive whiteboard in education of mathematics. The dissertation also contains processed and practice-tested lessons created by ACTIV Studio software for the chosen subject of the mathematics curriculum - Sets. This effort should be a good inspiration for all pedagogues in their initial work with interactive whiteboards. Creation of learning objects for interactive whiteboard in math education

The aim of the thesis on the topic "Learning objects for interactive whiteboard with a focus on mathematics" is to explore theoretical aspects and principles of interactive teaching using interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics at middle school. Another goal is to create interactive presentations of various thematic units of mathematics curricula for middle schools, and educational at the same time with the documentation for these presentations. Description of theoretical aspects deals with of both the very notion of interactivity and learning object concepts and interactive whiteboard. The bachelor thesis emphasized the need to take care when using the interactive whiteboard teaching traditional didactic principles and these principles are explained in relation to interactive learning. The practical part is dedicated to creating learning objects in the environment of the program GeoGebra and the program SMART Notebook for creating presentations. Result of this work is eight presentations created for the second and third year of middle school to take full advantage of the opportunities the program offers.
Interactive whiteboard in teaching second grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis focuses on support of teaching in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary school using interactive white boards with new technology SMART lab. It is focused on evaluation of publicly available interactive teaching portal applications, which occurre in high numbers, however they are obsoled or inappropriately created. Subsequently, the thesis includes a research which pays attention to the usage of the interactive white boards in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary schools located in Vysočina region. The main aim is to ascertain knowledge of teachers when using this technology. The examined subjects were chosen of the result of the questionnaire survey which was sent to teachers from the first grade of the elementary school.
The use of interactive whiteboards at lower secondary schools

The bachelor thesis focuses on interactive whiteboards and their application in elementary schools. The first part describes how whiteboards work and which types of software are used. The second part contains how elementary schools use whiteboards during their lessons. The main question of the bachelor thesis is manner and regularity of using. A quantitative analysis and statistics methods are used here. A survey is filled by children from elementary schools in the South Bohemian Region. The main result of the thesis is the evaluation of equipment and in which subjects whiteboards are used. The end of the thesis summarizes how children are satisfied with interactive whiteboards and creative learning methods during their lessons.
Food Chemistry and Nutrition in Chemistry Secondary Education

This PhD thesis deals with a topic of food chemistry and nutrition in secondary school education in chemistry lessons. The theoretical part summarizes significance and evaluation of textbooks and furthermore it focuses on modern approaches in chemistry lessons with the main focus on interactive boards. The methodological part deals with the analysis of framework educational programs, textbook analysis, questionaire surveys and creation of teaching materials. The practical part of this thesis summarizes the results of analysis of framework educational programs and textbooks in relation to food chemistry and diseases related to nutrition. It shows results of a questionnaire survey which has examined knowledge of students in the area of proper nutrition, diet and diseases related to nutrition and also relationship of students to this issue and to the subject of chemistry in general. It also summarizes the results of verification of studying materials which have arisen in this thesis. The practical part also includes an educational text for teachers on the topic of lipids, which was developed based on the results of extensive analysis of secondary school chemistry and biology textbooks, framework analysis of educational programs and research at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. This diploma thesis is focused on information and communication technologies, which became nowadays a part of our live at schools . The aim of this thesis is to introduce the term ICT, introduce its history, describe individual kind of ICT, didactical function and in the end shows the negative and positive sides of ICT. The practical part looks at the difference in using information and communication technologies among teachers at primary schools in region such as Prague and Královéhradecký. The last part is focused only on Prague teachers, their using ICT at schools during teaching, their opinions and experience with ICT.
The use of interactive whiteboard in teaching vocational subjects in secondary schools

The bachelor thesis have a theoretical and empirical character. The theoretical part analyzes the possibilities of using interactive whiteboards in teaching vocational subjects. The aim of the empirical part is to determine whether teachers use the interactive whiteboard to teach a course, how they use it (or why she was not used), then what are the teachers and students experience with the use of interactive whiteboards in teaching vocational subjects and how the students evaluate the use of interactive boards in specialized subject. For a research survey method was used an interview with a teacher and a questionnaire for secondary school pupils. The research group were teachers of vocational subjects in secondary schools and students of secondary vocational schools.
