Photographic prints and forming processes and their relations to another artistic media

This thesis is devided in two related fields. First of them observe photography in the 19th century in a broader context. Is focused on photography which borrow traditional art rules and aspects in aim to get an equal status between fine arts. This first part helped valuate technics of so-called photographic processes in the second part of the thesis. This domain of photography is concentrated not only on technology but also on problems of amateurism or a theory of artistic photography of the time. The last chapter presents the most important Bohemian representatives of this profession and demonstrates a broad scale of artistic posibilites on concrete samples.
Development of photography and significance of contemporary photojournalism and documentary photography

This Master's Thesis is focused on evolution of photography with focus on photojournalism and documentary photography and aims to prove that this genre, though it may seem that it's currently on the decline, is still important. The theoretical part contains general history and definition of photography, pointing out the relationship between photography and art and describes the most important theories of aesthetics of photography. Then the work is focused purely on photojournalism and documentary photography. It describes the relationship and the difference between these genres. Further the thesis is focused on the ethics of photography and manipulation of images. The practical section consists of analysis of technical requirements on photo equipment with regard to individual areas of photojournalism and documentary photography. The following part contains practical examples based on author's experience and the work concludes with compilation of several Czech photographers' answers to questions about photojournalism and documentary photography.
Tourism and photography

Main goal of this document is to introduce and specify issues of connection between tourism and photography in areas in which they meet the most. The first part contains history of photography in reference to first appearance of its interaction with tourism. The second part shows concrete levels of interactions of those segments. In the third part are specified different types of photographs and their usage in tourism. Last part contains ratings of promotional materials of selected regions and also rating of photographs they include.
