Modelling of differential current amplifier
Polák, Josef ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my diploma thesis was programming of systems for measuring AC, DC and impedance measurements. Each measuring system measures selected characteristics of current amplifier with controllable amplification DACA_N. Control programs I have created in Agilent VEE Pro 9.2. The measured data are stored to executable files in MS Excel for further processing. With created measurement programs I made measurements of eight current amplifiers. The results of individual measurements I compiled into graphs and compared with each other circuit characteristics of amplifiers. Then there is described controlling and connection of current amplifier and its construction. At the end the diploma thesis describes amplifiers with the worst and the best measured circuit characteristics. The measured values show that the amplifier DACA_N with slight differences works by theoretical assumptions and measurement systems suggested by me work with no problem.
Meaurement process automatization of deviations and stability of oscilators
Čermák, Jan ; Nováková Zachovalová, Věra (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This Master´s thesis on a topic ,,Meaurement process automatization of deviations and stability of oscilators‘‘ describes methods for measuring the difference of time scales. Using this method, calculates the parameters of the oscillator, which is also describes in this work. Parameters of the oscillator means inning and stability. Describes is the procedure for calculating the uncertainties and their presentation in the final calibration sheet. This Master´s thesis also describes the practical measurement with this method in the Czech metrology institute in Brno. Measurement of the parameters of oscillator by the method of measurement of the difference of time scales is carried out automatically by computer. This Master´s thesis deals with the creation and development of new software and thus the automation of the entire task.
Automation Measurement System
Zálešák, Marek ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The follow text describes National Instruments Company's program LabVIEW and bus GPIB. The main part of the text solves the motion and description of software, which was created by help of LabWIEV program for Automation Measurement System. In conclusion of this work are the demonstration and results of control measurements, which were generated by this measuring system.
The Hefaistos System
Mancl, Vlastimil ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Pikula, Stanislav (advisor)
This master's thesis describes functionality and principle of the Hefaistos measurement system, which is fully automated and modular. Its purpose is to measure frequency responses of materials and its temperature dependence. The thesis describes all the necessary parts of the modular measurement system. Main part of this system is the control application programmed in LabVIEW software environment. Another necessary parts are impedance analyzers for acquiring frequency dependencies and heating chambers for heating measured materials. The control application ensures hardware synchronization between impedance analyzers and heating chambers. Together they create the Hefaistos system. Modularity of the system means that a user may choose which instrument combination will be used. The system offers choice between three impedance analyzers Agilent 4294A, Wayne Kerr 6520B and HIOKI 3532 LCR Hi-Tester and two heating chambers AOIP GEMINI 700 LRI and AOIP HYPERION. Possibilities of the Hefaistos system are demonstrated on the results of an example measurement.
Semi-automatic workstation for measuring the properties of electronic circuits
Rozboud, Jakub ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the selection of a solution and subsequent implementation of a semi-automated measuring station for measuring active elements in the FGIC44 circuit. The thesis includes a basic analysis of the construction and wiring of the FGIC44 circuit. Remote control and automation of the instruments was implemented using the Keysight VEE Pro development environment. Microsoft excel was used to record and process the measured data. Four supplied chips were measured using the built measurement workstation and the results are included in the appendices of this paper.

Tests of Semiconductor Detectors in Prague Laboratory
Krásny, Peter ; Kodyš, Peter (advisor) ; Carli, Ina (referee)
This thesis is focused on the usage of silicon semiconductor detectors in ATLAS experiment and automation of safe cooling and heating processes needed during the tests performed on detectors at a given tem- perature. The tests take place in the freezer environment with the place of interest where the detector is to be placed required to stay dry throughout the entire test. This is secured by monitoring the temperature and rela- tive humidity of the environment using Interlock device with sensors and by automatic calculation of the dew point temperature without any supply of nitrogen commonly used in other set ups of the tests. Both cooling and heating processes are being prepared to be fully automatized, reducing the amount of manual handling required to minimum which helps to maintain the conditions and safe run of the test. 1
Automatic switch range for AC-DC etalon Fluke 792A
Trojan, Martin ; Šíra,, Martin (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The main topic of this Master's Thesis is design and implementation of mechanical connection between the automatic range switch unit and the AC-DC Transfer Standart Fluke 792A. This Master's Thesis contains theoretical analysis of the the AC-DC Transfer Standart Fluke 792A and of stepper motors. Followed the choosing of appropriate drive. In next chapter is the theoretical analysis of automatic range switch unit, used microcontroller and the description of the GPIB. Last part of this Master's Thesis describes design of mechanical connecting part and the selection of appropriate sensors for sensing the current position of the shading component.
Tests of Semiconductor Detectors in Prague Laboratory
Sýkora, Martin ; Kodyš, Peter (advisor) ; Řezníček, Pavel (referee)
This thesis is focused on automatisation and synchronisation of newly installed devices in Prague laboratory. The devices will form an experimental arran- gement not only for laser tests of ITK modules for the ATLAS detector, but also for tests of other types of semiconductor detectors. In addition to ensuring of a central control of the devices the goal of the thesis was to understand the principle of particle detection in high energy physics as well as to get acquainted with the construction of pixel and microstrip detectors. I participated in the development of a script for cont- rolling a laser, 3-axis motorised translation stages, an optical attenuator and a pulse generator via RS-232 and GPIB communication interfaces from an object-oriented program ROOT. Finally, all installed devices were put into operation and a detailed description of their bundled software and internal control commands was included. The apparatus will participate during upcoming years in the research of the new generation of ITK modules for ATLAS upgrade.
GUI for impedance measurement automation on Agilent 4294A
Dejdar, Petr ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to develop a control software for Agilent 4294A impedance analyser. Text of the theoretical section explains the dataflow of GPIB interface, basics of National Instruments LabView enviroment and the description of Agilent 4294A and its drivers for LabView. The function of the control software is a transfer of data from analyser, its conversion into Microsoft Excel .xlsx format + receiving screenshot in .png format from the analyser’s display. There are described all of subroutines contains setting and reading analyzers setting in this thesis. The conclusion sums up possible control software variation in regard to its complexity.
