Web application integrating artificial intelligence techniques into the correlation rule creation process
Šibor, Martin ; Caha, Tomáš (referee) ; Safonov, Yehor (advisor)
Currently, as digitalization becomes an integral part of all areas of our lives, the complexity and sophistication of cyber threats are constantly increasing. A key element in the fight against these cyber threats is security monitoring. An important tool for security monitoring are SIEM systems, which allow for early detection and response to potential attacks based on correlation rules. The main contribution of this work is the design and implementation of a web application that integrates artificial intelligence techniques into the process of creating and managing correlation rules for security monitoring systems, with the aim of streamlining the process of creating, modifying, and understanding correlation rules. The work first provides a theoretical introduction to the field of natural language processing and modern neural networks, particularly the transformer architecture, which is the basis of generative artificial intelligence models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini). It then introduces the principles of security monitoring, log management systems, the concept of correlation rule generalization, and, last but not least, the challenges associated with managing and maintaining correlation rules, which the integration of artificial intelligence into these processes significantly reduces. The practical part of the work describes the design and implementation of a web application that utilizes the gpt-4 and gpt-3.5-turbo models from OpenAI and the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model from Google for creating new correlation rules, modifying existing rules, and explaining and interpreting them for easier understanding and faster deployment. The application is designed with user-friendliness and efficiency in mind. The results of the work show that the integration of artificial intelligence into the correlation rule creation process brings significant efficiency improvements. The web application allows users to easily create and modify correlation rules. The application also allows users to better understand correlation rules, enabling them to respond to potential threats more quickly.
Impact of AI Tools on Code Quality and Security
Vinarčík, Peter ; Holop, Patrik (referee) ; Malinka, Kamil (advisor)
Gemini
Hanzalíková, Miroslava ; Františák, Luboš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with the revitalization of a high school named GEMINI for medically disadvantaged youth and its surroundings. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of the school's revitalization, the concept of the school garden, the former exchange station, and a café with a community center.
Gemini
Němcová, Hana ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the proposal is to create a pleasant and functional environment for study and stay of youth with a medical disadvantage in the GEMINI Secondary School. Requirement the reason for the increase in the number of children is not only revitalization and modernization existing buildings, but also new constructions of other buildings. Another aspect of the project is the appropriate integration of the building into the environment of the housing estate Brno – Lesná.
Electronic Banking and its Integration into Accounting Software
Žůrková, Lenka ; Heřman, Milan (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The main goal of this master’s thesis is to represent the development of accounting softwares depending on the development of electronic banking. Particular chapters subsequently deal with direct banking - its formation, services and security, concerning accounting software as well as the interconnection of banks and the company accountancy using conversion applications integrated into the economical software.
The Hefaistos System
Mancl, Vlastimil ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Pikula, Stanislav (advisor)
This master's thesis describes functionality and principle of the Hefaistos measurement system, which is fully automated and modular. Its purpose is to measure frequency responses of materials and its temperature dependence. The thesis describes all the necessary parts of the modular measurement system. Main part of this system is the control application programmed in LabVIEW software environment. Another necessary parts are impedance analyzers for acquiring frequency dependencies and heating chambers for heating measured materials. The control application ensures hardware synchronization between impedance analyzers and heating chambers. Together they create the Hefaistos system. Modularity of the system means that a user may choose which instrument combination will be used. The system offers choice between three impedance analyzers Agilent 4294A, Wayne Kerr 6520B and HIOKI 3532 LCR Hi-Tester and two heating chambers AOIP GEMINI 700 LRI and AOIP HYPERION. Possibilities of the Hefaistos system are demonstrated on the results of an example measurement.

This paper describes functionality and principle of Hefaistos system. This system is fully automated and modular. Its purpose is for measurement of frequency responses of materials and its temperature dependence. Article describes all of the parts of modular measurement system, which main part is control application, programmed in LabVIEW software enviroment. Application is used for synchronization of hardware i.e. synchronization of frequency analyzer with heating chamber. Final aplication is user friendly and offers frequncy measurement with or without heating chamber. Possibilities of Hefaistos system are demonstrated on results of an example measurement.

Communication strategy of NASA during space programs Mercury, Gemini and Apollo in the years 1958 - 1972
Dorňáková, Nikol ; Bednařík, Petr (advisor) ; Cebe, Jan (referee)
Master's thesis "Communication strategy of NASA during space programs Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space programs in 1958-1972" is a summary of the work of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the field of external communications. This diploma thesis maps the communication strategy during the first space programs Mercury, Gemini and Apollo in the 50s-70s. of the 20th century. It also puts it in a wider historical, social and media context. It is also devoted to the emergence of NASA, to individual programs and the emergence of space interest in the United States.
